What I don't get is Dane Cook though... Why are people so excited about him? :|

His "Guy in a Superman Tshirt" skit is really not funny at all but people seem to be talking about it all the time. I don't know his other stuff, but if that's supposed to be one of his best then he sucks.
He's OK but he's overrated.

My friends (the dumber ones) seem to think he's the greatest.

HAHA I saw Russell Peters live he's pretty funny but he pretty much just talks about indians and asians not really original for an Indian comedian. The true king of comedy is Bernie Mac he mad me ROFL literally. George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Jim Gaffigan and Dave Chappelle are all great too.

Jon Stewart does stand-up? :o

I've never seen it.
I was watching C-Span this one time (I watch it all the time, it's addictive). He was at this random event before the election in NY and he was hilarious. It's amazing how much stuff he made up on the spot. I'm not kidding: rtsp://video.c-span.org/project/c04/c04102304_stewart.rm. Play that in RealPlayer.

Chappelle's stand-up is mediocre. Anyone seen "Killing Them Softly?"

did anyone hear me saying I wasn't an idiot? :(

Russell Peters is hilarious, but he became way too popular around here lately, and all his jokes are played out.

Dane Cook is a ****in legend, his earlier **** kicked ass. then I saw him on the MTV Movie/Music (dont remember which) Awards and didn't find his material funny at all. but like I said, some of his earlier material is gold. the Speak and Spell bit and his Burger King thing :D

I've only seen Jon Stewart doing stand up once, and that was on Just For Laughs... pretty funny, but everything was political, got kinda boring after a while.

Dave Chappelle isn't bad, draws laughs outta me every once in a while.

Chris Rock sucks.

dont even get me started on Seinfeld :nape:

never seen Martin Lawrence stand-up.

John Pinette: ******* legend. http://www.johnpinette.com/

"They shouldn't have called it Speak 'N' Spell. What they should've called it was Speak Like The Devil."

"Are you trying to molest me, via drive-thru? What are you saying?"

(H)

You all need to listen to Harmful If Swallowed by Dane Cook. It's hillarious.

oh man Seinfeld, best tv show ever... piss poor stand up comedian.

His material kicks ass? Have you been living on the moon or something? Routines about laundry and stuff like that? Please, at least Chris Rock often tries to make a point about society as feeble as it may be.

The material doens't have to attack a surtain political standpoint or leaders, make fun of surtain norms or tabus to be funny.
I like Seinfeld, I can't help that I find it funny. I just do. It was not like I flipped a coin wether to choose Seinfeld or some black comedian.

Chris Rock is almost as poor as Eddie Murphy - rediculously overrated comedian and performer, even Rob is funnier than him.

disagree Sir_Didier_Drogba, Rock is a pile of **** but Eddie Murphy is class, watched a full 1hr standup; he was amazing.

Saw a stand up from Martin Laurence the other day, rather good too.
