I can't think of a player that wanted to win a CL more than Drogba. Also, Lampard was actually really good in midfield today.
PS. anybody else in America wanted to choke the commentator? The teams are about to take kicks and he is telling some stupid story from back in the day about which of his teammates wanted to take a penalty and which didn't, the story ended on him naming his teammates that said "yes" and those that said "no". Or his quote "Its Bayern one - Chelsea one and a bit" or "how Chelsea aren't keeping the ball, not because they don't want to but because they are closed down"...

I thought Cole, Mikel, Lampard were very good today. Cech is a legend. Loved RDM's reaction when seeing Abramovic.
This night was a nightmare, but we ******* won, we own this ****. The Bertrand idea sort of worked, were he a better player it would've really paid off, but hey, he wasn't bad for a CL debut in a final.

Okay... I have to do this... I have to say that drinking moderately (not my instinct) and talking to friends about non-soccer bull**** really helped and I'm now home and in a condition to speak and not leave a trail of tears. Well... at least not a huge one.
1) ****!!!!!!! WE WERE SERIOUSLY THE BETTER TEAM THOUGH!!! Everyone saw that, right?
2) An enormous thanks to the Chelsea supporters in the English Pub in which I watched the game. Any other fan base would have shouted in my face, but Chelsea fans kept their distance as I looked at the big TV with my mouth wide open, eyes open, but not seeing anything, for an hour. They understood.
3) As far as the game goes, what can I really say? We created the chances (even before the "beach ball" incident) to win, and we couldn't put them away. I will never forget this, but it's also not something I can blame Chelsea for. They obviously knew how to defend our ****ty corners, and Petr Cech looks like a Die Hard villain.
4) I don't actually hate Chelsea, I really like a lot of the individual players. Even John Terry. So had it been against anyone else, I'd be glad to see the Fat one and Ramires kiss the trophy. So congrats to a good team who did deserve to win a Champions League at some point (maybe I'd prefer 4 years ago...) and finally got it. But...

I can't pretend to think you were worthy opponents in a Euro Championship, at least on paper. But I did NOT want Barcelona (who would have killed us). And credit where its due, you made our players uncomfortable on their numerous clear cut chances. Not to mention Cech. Bottling isn't an individual thing, you can cause the other team to bottle with the right pressure in the right places, and I think Chelsea did that. And obviously Cech had a huge hand in it, the faggot.

When Neuer stepped up I really thought that was gonna be the miss we needed, when he scored I thought it was all over. But really I knew God was on our side when Robben joined Messi and Rooney in the cant score penalties against Chelsea club.

**** Robben. He's good enough to take (and miss) crucial penalties during the game, but can't step up during a shootout? He wouldn't take one in Madrid either. I'd be on the phone tomorrow to Juventus if I was Nerlinger or Hoeness.
