i think that it was an unfair result
in first the 50/60 minutes dominated the game, made high pressure what it compelled the defenses of manchester to kick the ball it are and to miss to passes manchester arrived at golo equips it in one launches of counterattack and the benfica players lost it, they did'nt keep the high pressure and allowed man utd to play the way they wanted
man utd bet everything in ronaldo, he was the only player who created dangerous situations for man utd and they waited for an error from benfica to capitalize their strategy
I think that the fair result would be a draw because man utd did played very defensively and played always in counter-attack
benfica also didn't deserve to earn because we didn't create any clear situation of danger, even after dominating most of the game

Our performances was shocking in the frist half we can't string a few passes together which is a joke. 
but we got the win which is the most important thing. Heinze and Ronaldo MoM for United imo. Rooney had a shocker again, hopefully he gets some form because we need him performing, and his recent form has been attrocious.

He actually looked like a more mature player this time around. Used all the booing to pump himself up. Nice to see that, for a change.
I just watched the 1st half, and thus I can only say that in the first half 0-0 was the fair score, and this was a terrible result for Benfica. I don't see them rising to the occasion and pull through to the next round...

Just a response based on how much Benfica fans overrated their victory over Man Utd last year, they speak about it as if they won the Champions League final over us. And Benfica fans do nothing but brag about it, so I thought id grace Benfica fans with a response to the Man Utd victory, that is truthfully worthy of their attitude. Anyway...scholes did well too...cool composed passing but very disappointed with Rooney.. he screwed up some of our attacks which was shocking. and couldnt play a simple pass. He just needs a goal. Saha..the beast of MUFC!!
