"Classic" Players draft - would anyone be interested?

Basically I have time to do this now but I dont know if anyone is in the slightest bit interested?

We would need 16 players (15 plus me), and each would pick teams of eleven only and would be allowed no more than three currently active players under 35. It would be voting round only, in EURO 2012 format.

Basically if 15 people post here saying they want to play within the next few days I will run it, otherwise we'll just let it die. So anyone up for it?

If you think about it you may not know all the great players of the 60s 70s or even 80s but there was enough tremendous talent in the 90s and early 00s to put together several amazing teams......

I'd probably be in, but don't like the idea as much as the one we make every year. The 11-only thing makes it a bit better, but it still duller than a present day one.

No worries its pretty easy we just take turns to pick players til we each have a team of eleven, you can read through ShiftyPowers rules if you like or just pick it up as you go along. Just remember, no tipping.

Well you can pick any players from the history of the game, however there is a limit of three currently active players aged 35 or under per team. So yeah, it is the big names, but as you only pick eleven players you want to get a balanced team also. Mentioning names is not allowed but it could involve past galacticos, stars of world cup winning teams, club legends and indeed current tika taka pioneers. You can pick any eleven players from the history of the game.
