Well I am in my second season with Man United and have a very good team. I came in second behind Newcastle,they are always so good in my game.
Well Im pretty full at the forward position. Because Ive got Ruud,Ole and bought Cisse at the beginning.In my reserves I have Le Tallec which i bought and Robinho and Rooney which I signed on frees. Rooney at the beginning and Robinho in January.

Midfield. Ive got Giggs,Scholes,Keano,Veron,Becks,Deco and Butt,then a bunch of youngsters in the reserves and U-19's. Also got Wright Phillips on free.

Defense: Ive got pretty much the same Man United defence and they are all great for me, but I might try to seek out a new player which Im trying to get Alex right now but his work permit probably wont get approved. Might think about Chivu but they want too much for him.

Goalie:Ive got Barthez starting which I dont really want to happen since hes getting older, so I have Victor Valdes as a long term replacement but I dont know if hell do well. I put him in my reserves.

So the question is Ive got 42 million to spend on someone. Should I buy a star player, or buy a few players, a goalie?, or keep the money? If you have any suggestions for players, it would be greatly apprciated.

They want 67mil for Van der Vaart. Most teams want so much for their youngsters. I was going to buy Rafael Marquez but Arsenal just bought him when I was looking to buy him. So Can anyone request two defenders that I will be able to buy with the money or just spend it on Chivu.

Lucio from Leverkusen, if you can handle the wage, and Zauri from Lazio, very versatile guy. You should be able to get both for 42 million (if it's in GBP, that is)...

Yeah, buy him anyway from errr.... Dortmund. For other defenders: Gilberto Martinez and Kevin Hofland

You think I can actually buy Lucio and someone else becuase its in dollars my relatives in Portugal brought me this game and I live in America so ,dollars. Who would be better Chivu or Lucio. But wouldnt Lucio need a work permit , so do u think hed be able to get it? Thanks for the help.

Lucio (who is indeed at Leverkusen, stupid me) won't have problems with the permit. Together with Zauri is a bit too much in dollars, yes. Hofland is also very expensive to acquire, too much as well. Don't know about Gilberto Martinez...

Igor Tudor from Juve could also be a good target.

Euro or Pounds? Van der Vaart always goes for 30M in my game.

...You should have mentioned it in your first post then. Pounds is the currency most of us use and I'd think most of the footballing world would be comfortable with that or the Euro when it comes to player valuations. I live in Korea and I use pounds.

42M dollars is like 20M pounds, you can get Lucio for 10M if he hasn't gone to Newcastle already or Bonera for about the same amount.

Sorry should have thought of that. I just got Chivu because Lucio, 47 million is how much they wanted. Chivu was 30 million. Do you think Bonera could be bought for that?

Bonera is very good as richt back aswell as Right-centre back and I think you can buy him for that money and his contract is unprotected in the January transfer window(I thought? :confused: )

Oh damn his value is now 14,750,000. So i cant buy him. I actually bought Chivu for 27,500,000 instead of 30. He also got his work permit easily.
