Comparing Graphics FIFA 2005 and PES4

The graphics are so much better in PES 4

And look a review of graphics in IGN:

Fifa 2004

Cutscenes show good use of contrasted close and distant focus, and in addition to the sharper texturing, the motion capture work has once again improved.

Fifa 2005

The animation of the players is splendid and we love the level of details on the players. The generic players get a little simple after the superstars and that's not so good.

The Rothen picture is just stupid. In FIFA he hasn't got a specific face:rolleyes: . So you just can't compare them. And I'm not talking about the fact he has long hair.

I know that's a huge mistake too. Some team researcher don't deserve to be one.

sure it's stupid,but playes like rothen or kaka should have unique faces so i simply put it in.

I love PES, waiting for PES4 to come out, all the faces look amazing in PES4, but that C.Ronaldo one, does "look" like him in FIFA better from far away, in PES4 they gave him a small head, looks like a cherry. and the fifa hair, is just awful, looks like just plastered there......:kader:

surely not all faces in pes are 100% right,but compared to fifa PES has better and more realistic faces overall.

i also got fifa for xbox and im obsessed with winning eleven 7 int... but man the fifa graphics look soo good... wat i love is how the time of day makes the game look soo different... i love winning eleven but these graphics are amazing... the faces tho are realistic looking compared to humans but do not look like hte actual player... its a huge down grade seems like ronaldo looked better last year... rooney looks good but owen doenst look like that at all its wierd.. seems like they redid the faces and messed up... but without a doubt the graphics are the best i have ever seen for a soccer game... after playing for a week the gameplay really isnt that bad and is fun and the comp is pretty challenging... still winning eleven is winning eleven great game but fifa is good too

See, there you go. You can compare all you want using screenshots but seeing the Xbox graphics in action is excellent.

Xbox is the only System Fifa really looks decent on,since it uses highres textures for the kits allready i think...+it got some more advantage,and yeah,actually it looks quite good on there.

but still the player models look stretched and the texture photo template looks way too shaded and dirty.

That's the great thing with consoles, the resolution is lower so it all looks a bit smudgy, leaving your imagination to fill in the gaps.

Haha, you could be right there. All I know is that my mind tells me it's better. It also runs much more fluently and smoother than it does on my PC.

the graphics for fifa 2005 dont impress me, got them on 1200X1600 with 4x AA and thier just not up to par, hopfully pes 4 will look better although my hopes arent to high
