Here is the formation of River for tomorrow match:

------------Lux------------
------------------------------
---Gerlo--Caceres--Tuzzio---
------------------------------------
Ferrari--Ahumada--Zapata--Dominguez
-----------------------------------------
-----------Gallardo-------------
---------------------------------
-------Aban----------Higuain------
------------------------------------

Farias isnt 100% so Aban will start...

Caceres isnt 100% but he is very important, so Passarella will take the risk...

Estudiantes' luck is gonna run out. LDU is out also. Libertad - River, and Velez - Chivas can go both ways.

Well, since these matches are all two months after the first leg lets not forget that most of the teams have lost players in the transfer market.

Chivas lost Salcido (PSV), Johnny Garcia (Queretaro), Armas (Chiapas) and Barrera (Queretaro). While Velez has lost Gracian (Monterrey) and I think Zarate. And Castroman is out cuz of injury.
Yeah, we've lost a fair amount of players but we've got the NT players back with the exception of Salcido and that should have a positive influence on the team. The young guys really stepped it up in the liguilla and while I know that it doesn't compare to the Libertadores, I'm pretty confident they can do it again if they're called upon. I just pray the game doesn't go into penalties. :(

I'm watching the Libertad-River match

Libertad winning 3-1 and the River fans disgust me attacking the police like that? throwing sh!t at them? :|. Not sure if the Libertad fans started this but that's f*cking low on there part.

I had actually forgotten what real football was about, you know with that whole World Cup thing, that passed by, uneventful.

River lost to the great football of Libertad, a team that came out with pure skill, and technique. No bull****ting around, the players just played good football, with good anticipation on the mid-field, something that just completely tore River apart.

Bogadilla looked like superman out there, excellent saves. The only goal was more an error of the defence, not really his.

Now, I'm really looking forward to the next games. (Y)

River barras vs foreign policemen... same nonsensical BS happened at their semis against us in Morumbi last year - and they hardly could charge the massive home crowd. At least that time no actual BS was used :|. :boohoo:
(It is true, however, that some retards from our side had stoned the River bus on stadium entrance. Well, Libertadores always have to spill blood I suppose :nape: )

As for the comments on squad changes, amazingly enough we have lost no one so far... The main addition to the squad you might not have heard of is this man. He was recovering from that knee injury around here (with us, in fact) and was signed on a short term loan ('till mid August, but that may be extended). Mind you, he scored two last Wednesday (H).

There are two new two sidebacks/wingers as well, both from Palmeiras. One (Ilsinho) is for all purproses a promise still, while the other one Lúcio, who was exchanged before the folks could have the chance to execute him at Parque Antártica, and may start tomorrow for Júnior (picked up a knock Saturday).

Shame on us...!!! shame shame shame...

Libertad owned us the entire match...

And Libertad fans started to throw stones right after the 3-1, not a cool thing to do... :)

Anyway, Libertad played a lot better...deserved to win...

Until next year...

Problems were between River fans and the police, not the first time it happened ;) Libertad did own River good.
