I've been testing the new CM14 and found out that the leagues on completely new Ids have "Position necessary to achieve objectives" set to null. Maybe after using data from a simillar league (example: 16team ekstraklasa to 16team bulgarian league) we can make it work on a new ID?

P.S. This option is visible on the League screen.

Its the same as editing the table career_boardoutcomes.

This as said fifaCCitiu.com is career_boardoutcomes. I get settings from Polish league for Bulgarian league, just change some positions to achieve, couse Bulgarian league are with 14 teams, but still 2 from cmsettings.ini are disabled, but career works without any problems(eight season is now). Just one crash, but couse of reached under minimum needed players in the team(18). When I load before this crash and i Take a look on my team, the players was 18. This crash was in one of the transfer windows. I`m fully simulating for now and maybe some of the players was sold. I keep the team without sales in this transfer window and everything was fine. I`m 99% sure that this crash was couse of that, couse I remember that I sow somewhere in .ini, .lua or .txt files this rule.
Now I`m working on the base and I hope that with some more repairs on it, I`ll be abble to enable SEASONOBJECTIVES(crash when is enabled at the end of summer transfer window) too and than I`ll start to search how to enable MANAGERMODESEASONOBJECTIVEMANAGER(career dont start, crash when loading), or maybe if I have success with enabling of SEASONOBJECTIVES, MANAGERMODESEASONOBJECTIVEMANAGER will be enabled too. Also I think that it`ll be able to add second division too, without any problems.

That is for now, eight seasons without any problems with two disabled settings in cmsettings.ini

About the problem of the null string in board_outcome ect ...
(team objective columns...)

I can confirm that the problem is exactly that:

whatever the value set in the database for the objectives
assigned to teams connected to the new league ... (I tested everything,
without using CM), for some reason the game chooses anyway
a value of 31 (you can verify this before the crash to the change of the season).

This value is not acceptable (only sixteen are the objectives, 0-15)
and it is the cause of the crash, when the goal is assigned
(you can move on disabling the option in cmsetting.ini)
and each time it is checked.

Unfortunately it seems a limit (bug?) of the game executable,
or...
I have not been able to get around it!

So what is actually the proper way of editing the tournaments/leagues?

I did the following:
- Extracted the latest fifadb files to data/db
- Used these to find compIds from all leagues
- Edited the career-mode files (*.ini, *.lua, *.txt, *.cvs, etc.)
- Made sure all the compIds are placed and set in files where needed
- Edited tasks.txt/settings.txt/internationals.txt/euroseed...cvs to edit teams in CL/EU
- Renegerate

For some reason the game keeps crashing when going to the second season. The first season is no problem at all.

So what things should be enabled/disabled in cmsettings? It seems to me that all things should be enabled to let the game work.

Hi bubble Gum,

I think I've found the problem. It seems that the database is getting corrupt when apply the squad update, and this causing the game to crash (really hard). I also found this issue in several other topics, for some reason it is causing corruption.

I'm now using the ModdingWay Mod, and it seems these guys made it work OK. Will take a look, to find out what more I did wrong. :P

For some reasons in internationals.txt is good to add lines for the country ID that you use if it`s not there and for league too if your league is with new id.

Database. You have change one of the existed nations with scout map into Ukrainian. After that you should change player names and surnames to get realistic scout results. Read this for more information.
