I'm experiencing a manager mode crash between the second and third season, it happens at the usual spot, when it sims between the seasons at around 80 percent after you've selected your sponsor. Anyone know what's up with this and if it's fixable?
I have not edited any databases since the start of the manager mode so I don't understand why this is happening. Any help appreciated, thanks.

hey guys, 2 problems and i hope you can help me, i play UEFA CL 2006-07
1. when i open UEFA in CM07, i wanted to move Juventus from rest of world, to italian league A, i deteted them from rest of world, then went to italy, add team, juventus. They show up in CM07, but whenever ingame, its the old way, theyre in rest of world.
2. when editing lineups, changing #'s, etc in CM07, when i go back to game, its always the old way, nothing changes unless i edit it ingame. I have only been able to update kits, thats about it, can anyone help me out maybe i am doing somehting wrong.. i appreciate it

I have added 12 leagues, 24 tournaments, 215 stadiums and 287 teams in the database with CM07 and now I run into a problem : In the game menu, some team names don't appear anymore, when I look at the language.db with DBMaster everything is fine and in sequence, there are no double records or anything... Is there a limit of records in the language database or is something else causing this problem? Anyone ran into this and solved it? Please help, it's annoying to play vs. no name teams...
Well, I tried to solve the problem on my own by backuping every extra team in .cmp files, then removing everything (kits, players, database numbers) for every imported team and as expected no more missing teams problems in the menu. (I use dut.db as my test language database)
Then I started to import the teams again by league, saving between each import and verifying in the game if the menu was still ok.
Now, this is what happened :
- As you know CM07 starts importing new teams starting at team id number 120000 and then adds up from there. For me the problems started at team 120201, from that point on the menu text was missing for some teams (strangely not in sequence, sometimes teams 120254 to 120258 would miss menu text but not the 3 or four next ones and so on). Imo this is the cause : there are a limited number of records allowed in the language databases and/or there are a limited number of team id's allowed in sequence.
- I verified this by deleting the text records in the dut.db which are related to online play (I never play online so I don't care about those) those are located in the record 400 to 500 range so they are located before the team records in the db, then when I opened Fifa again, all teams appeared in the menu again!!!! with no error or missing text.
- By deleting the unneeded text strings I was able to add teams up to 120256 before I ran into trouble again due to hitting the max record number allowed, this was still not enough (as I have 287 teams to add total) so I had to loose the Israël, Malta, Cyprus and Irish EIRCOM leagues, I choose to make a best of from each league and add them to the Rest of the World league to gain space.
Bottomline is that it is now proven that the language db's are also space limited and the next version of Creation Master should take this fact into account by
a) if possible, allowing to expand the language.db's in the same manner as done with the fifa.db itself
and
b) allow the user to choose his own teamid's when importing new teams! Strangely when I manualy changed Israel national team from id 120256 to 1342 including kits, logos, flags, minikits, banners and the whole chabang (a monks work if you need to do this manualy for each team) then it worked and appeared in the menu (which could mean only a max ammount of teams can be added in the 120000 range)
Well that's what I found out, I won't look into it further as I am almost done editing and importing stuff into my Fifa07, so I need to finish my Fifa06 career to start my Fifa07 one in time for my new toolbox (Fifa08) to arrive
I hope you could understand all of this Rinaldo, if not please advise and I will try to help by sending you my db files or whatever you need...

ya.i know.only for first time it runs ok.but from 2nd time there is crash when i start new season with same team.do you know the solution?shall i change the ID or delete young players?

I had to change the table_players table to edit the player ID. Once I changed all of the ids, I reloaded all of the original Youths from the original fifa.db. After the table_players table was "fixed", I had to edit the table_teamplayerlinks (this is the table that sets the rosters). I made the same changes on this table, meaning, I modified the playerid to have a leading 6 for the used youth ids.
Your random crash at the start of a new manager could be caused by a couple of things, 1) youth assignment is random and you could have hit a duplicate id at the start of the first season, 2) Duplicate Youth Ids can appear when you "scout for new players 3) some of the players that the patch updated kept the original birthdates of the youths - I found a 4 year old on a team

i have some problem with my CM07.when i try to save fifa.db it just stucks and ends in not responding.so,can you please mention which other program you used?

This will create an .mdb output file which can be opened with access or any other relational database utilities. (you will need basic relational database knowledge to understand the table links). Once you fix your database, you should be able to edit in CM.
When you get a random career crash and you suspect it to be the fifa.db, your career is pretty much over.
