Thanks I appreciate that. Frosty tools are great, but a lot of people are having issues, and the tools even stopped working for a while after the last EA update. It took me three days to get the tools working on my PC. I'm back to this method, I don't like having to run mods through programs running in the background, just a preference I have.

No problem. FIFA 18 is great, but I may just play tournament mode. That way I don't have to worry about trades or injuries at all (well, there are no transfers in tournament mode and no injuries is achieved by the modification I discovered with Frosty that seems to work so far.)
It's lots of fun to me to have Champions League and FA Cup games during the year with Career Mode but to be completely honest, there's also SO much noise and distraction in all those other components of the career mode that I never look at like budgeting and finances and scouting and constantly clicking past and ignoring that stuff does get annoying in addition to dealing with players being angry about their playing time and all those 'fantasy' elements that I absolutely hate in sports games. I like my sports games being like those from 10 years ago. You have all the teams, you play a season, and the game keeps track of standings and stats. That's it. If I really want FA Cup and Champions League, I can do that separately especially in the FIFA16 MW mod. And why do I care if other tournaments happen during the career itself anyway? So I can hear the commentators say, "they just won their quarterfinal match in the Carabao Cup"? Because having done Manager Careers for several years now I can definitively say the other tournaments have very little effect on anything other than commentator remarks and ambiance and only in a minor minor way. I have to say I'm reevaluating how I play FIFA. It should be about playing....FIFA. How is it really any different to play just a one-off tournament and a separate Champions League and FA Cup if I'm never going to bother with growing a team over several career years.
Anyway, getting off the forum's topic, but it is relevant in one thing: as you rack your brain modifying things in this game to tweak it, remember to ask yourself what the point is. For me, it's playing the game. If a mod happens one day that lets me do what I want, I'll think about that then. In the meantime, I'm playing FIFA.

That's how I think, I make my annual player and team edits, and that's it. Every year it's pretty much the same game so it's easy and takes a couple of days at most. Then I get on with playing tournaments and exhibition games. I even shut off the commentary two years ago, I used to spend hours editing players' commentary names, but no more.

I know, but in db i changed the teamcolorprim because my kit is red but the color was default black and always got reffree with red kit too...and other thing there´s a latina cup, with the best of latin america, but i wanna to add more teams and the money for winner, is to low.I added teams in leagues but in cup on carrer i only changed the name of cup, in dlc\....\compdata

I've got the no injury thing done with Frosty Editor. Do you know of any way of turning that edit into a FIFA exe so I don't have to load Frosty every time to run my ini edits?
Haven't found a way to load Frosty-created/edited squad files without using the Frosty tools, no.
Two things:
1. It's against forum rules to spam threads with multiple posts and requests. Stop it. And read the rules when you sign up to a forum.
2. I've read your 15 posts since you joined the forum. Every one of them is you, asking people to post this or that, or telling them to hurry up and post their mod or do something for you. Stop being a taker, and give something back to the forum instead. Read my editing tutorial and the Frosty tutorial. Create your own mod and post it for others to download.

Is it possible to stop transfers completely, I have tried to change these values in DB:
1) contractvaliduntil (players table) Changed to 2030
2) transferbudget (teams table) changed to 0
3) Loan players removed
Still transfers are happening, is there anything else I can do to turn off these transfers completely?
Please help I hate these transfers going on.

I tried this for weeks. It's not really doable without fixing the cmsettings file which when edited causes the game to crash. Good luck, but I coudn't find a way either. Apparently, if you can figure out what this means, I've been told you need to adjust the team's value. I don't get how to do that, by how much, in which table, but if you do figure it out, I'd love to know because I would kill to be able to turn off transfers. I've already figured out how to turn off injuries which was my other issue with playing FIFA.

There is a player trait called one team player, it's possible if you assign that to players they will stay with their teams. There's a trait ID thread in the FIFA 16 forum, although I checked it out two weeks ago and a lot of the trait IDs have changed in FIFA 18. But one team player might still be the same ID, I will post the ID if I find it.
According to the old trait chart, it is the trait 2 column, ID 512. FYI you can combine trait codes and have more than one trait.
There may even be a similar type of team trait ID but I don't recall seeing one.

For those who want to slow the transfers edit this

inside transfers.ini.
The higher those two numbers, the less transfers occur.

You can use any 16_DB.db in CM16 to find team's trait, you can assign to a team, open 16_DB.db with dbmaster and check codes, atm you can assign manually in the 18 db, or simple map codes.
In the 18 db you need to assign on different columns, but this already clear. Anyway working to convert also teams table.

I've tried changing those numbers from 200 to 500 to 1000 even. It never works.
On another note, I was told elsewhere that if you only adjust transfer budget in the teams table of the DB, it won't do anything but if you ALSO adjust "team value" then it works. Have not yet tried it.

Hey, very cool! Never spoke to you before, thanks for all the tools over the years.
I've gotten injuries removed but as soon as I can get a mod developed that also stops all transactions, I'll use your tool to make myself a loadable version of the game with those mods set up.

That works, I used it many times and it changes the budget, although it uses a formula and the budget is never the same for two teams with the same value, but yes, it works.
1. Open the manager table in Excel.
2. Find the correct team ID you want.
2. Edit and write in the first/last name of the coach, and assign him his face ID if he has one.
That's it. It is that simple and quick, and there is nothing more to it. If it doesn't work in-game, it's because you are not editing/modding the game files correctly. If that is the case, then there is not a lot people can help you with. Nobody could know what you are doing wrong to mod your game.
Also you have to start a new career any time your edit the squads file. You cannot continue with your old career, is that the problem?
