This is the official thread for DB master 09.
DBM08 is a database editor for FIFA 09. Edit any *.db file (also of older FIFA versions). Expand database function specific for FIFA 09.

There seems to be a little problem. I tried to reassign some boots (change the numbers), I saved but nothing changed - when in game, players still wore their ultrafuturistic EA boots.

You have to edit the "shoetypecode" value not the old "shoecolor" not used anymore
Moreover if you set "shoetypecode" to 0, then FIFa reads the "shoecolourcode1" to set the colour of the generic EA boot

Anyone know where in the DB the top emblem in manager mode is assigned.
Whenever I choose Roma in MM I get the Hull logo.

Lol, what a bug and it's in every FIFA09-vanilla!

You can easily change it with CM 08, you just have to make a new as roma guibanner.

Thanks for usefull tools. I'm waiting for them every year.
Just one thing... I have sucessfully added City of Manchester stadium. But there is problem with the name of the stadium in game. It's totally wrong, however it's ok in DB Master cells. I have no problem with adding Bernabeu stadium.

open the language file in CProgram Files\EA Sports\FIFA 09\data\cmn\fe if u use the english version open eng.db and fix it there

Yes but one at a time. Or you can export the table to Excel, chenge it and import it back.

Excuse me for being a bit of a pain in the ass, but could you please explain me how to change all stats... say... -5 to shooting for ALL players, in excel (which I suppouse might be the easier option)?

So far I managed to export the players info and open it in excel, and that's where I'm stuck.
