Denmark vs. Sweden [P + R]

So it's 3-3 with about 3 minutes of regular time to go when this sh!t happens:

The Swedes are attacking, and one of their players is lying down on the gorund all of a sudden (Rosenberg). The referee consults his linesman who informs him (which the camera footage proves as well) that Christian Poulsen punched Rosenberg in the stomach. The ref shows Poulsen the red and points to the penalty spot...when all of a sudden a Danish supporter (if I can call him that :sb9: ) storms onto the pitch and hits out at the referee. The ref consults the three assistants and they decided to leave the pitch and we are now waiting for their decision on whether or not to finish the match.



WHAT THE FU*K?! :|


EDIT: The UEFA decision is official (had no idea they could (the ref could?) decide this so quickly): 3-0 to Sweden, the match is over.

It would seem (haven't seen proper, slow-motion replays) that Rosenberg was pushing/hitting/elbowing Poulsen as well, but that of course does not justify Christian's retarded reaction.

Yeah I know Rosenberg started this h*t, but Poulsen behaved just like Zidane. Probably through his irresponsible behaviour you lost chances to qualify to UERO 2008.

That's pretty sad :(

The part that hurts the most is the fact that they came back from 3-0 down to 3-3, and actually had good chances to win as well. And all that was ruined by Poulsen and that fat piece of dogsh!t hitting out at the ref.

Holy **** what a weird game. Great first 30 minutes by Sweden resulted in a 3-0 lead but then Denmark came back and managed to make it 3-3. But wtf happened in the end? I have to admit that Denmark was the best team and should have won but thanks to Poulsen they didn't. If I was Olsen I would ban Poulsen from the team. Ruining your team's chances like that...that's just something you don't do.

But yea....I'm happy Sweden won and now we have a great chance to make it to Euro 2008 (H)

Something's most definitely not right when a spectator decides the outcome of a match.

So, if you're team is losing, all you have to do is dress up in the colours of the opposition and attack the referee and you get a 3-0 win for your team.

This match should be replayed, behind closed doors, if necessary.

Spectators actions deciding the outcome of a match is a farce. Read thuis UEFA, you bunch of muppets.

In a game between Scandinavian teams out of everyone. Elmander's really shining with the NT team though. This isn't an easy group so I'm glad that we beat Denmark b/c it should be enough to get us through to Euro unless Norn Iron continue to get points but I don't see that happening now.

Yeah, I'm expecting an appeal to be lodged by the Danish FA...normally you'd expect the match to be abandoned with the decision made subsequently in a UEFA meeting.

Just heard on Danish news that UEFA has announced that the decision is not official yet, so there's still some hope for Denmark.

^ I highly doubt they'd take away your goals just like that... like mentioned, they never do anything like that so quickly. If anything, they should find the fan and fine his ass, and maybe fine the Danish FA as well.

Jeez what a way to finish a game. they make it back from 3 goals down and now they could lose it all. (Does anyone have the video of the Goals btw?) Such a bad-tempered match from such peaceful nations.
