Do you want kids?

It's actually something I think about quite often, despite my usual lack of prediction and thinking in advance. I know there are a couple of members who have them, so obviously their input on the "after" is also welcome.

At this point in time, I don't think I'll ever want kids. Sure in 10 years my reply may be another, and perhaps 50 years from now if I don't have any I'll regret it, but right now I don't think I will.

It may have to do with the fact that I also am not considering marriage, or maybe the austerity that's hit Europe makes me not want to have that burden in my life, but mostly I think that it can be psychologically extreme - especially having a girl. I mean, until they're 5 they're cute, and after they're 30 they're cool, but between that must be hell.

it'll be tough to understand for those of you who are in their 20's, and it is impossible for the teenagers, but it'll happen eventually..

for me I'm 30 now and married, I dont want any babies in my lap right now but I feel it is coming.. I give it three years for me..


and my aunt, worked her arse off till she is 37.. and in about 6 months she realized that it'll be too late for everything soon, so she gave birth to her daughter, and kicked her husband out.. women are more unstable than men..

Yeah, but when your boy fucks around it's cool, when your girl fucks around it sucks. Boys are hella adorable too; my nephews are cute as hell. Maybe it's different after 6 or 7, but up to 5 it's still ridiculous. My 1 year old nephew exclaimed today, "Are you SERIOUS? Oh my gracious!"

I do, but not until I'm 35-40. I'd like two boys and a girl. It was the combination my family had, and I think it really works. Girls can be much more independent, boys don't generally have as good imaginations, and having another not to play with is great.

Preferably the girl would be older, because they're generally bossy and LOVE responsibility.

I dunno, both are great. I have a half brother and sister 17 and 20 years younger than me, so that was a great way to see it fairly close to me, without being a parent.

They're great, and both are as cute as each other. Girls adore their dad in a loving way, boys admire their dad in a "that's what I want to be" way.

I have a 1.5 year old daughter. She's awesome. Farts like a guy, it's quite hilarious. It's no joke tho, trying to discipline her while not laughing that she threw her milk in the air. Wife and I are definitely having another one in 3 years
