Yeah right! The bloke who scored the goal should have been sent off thirty seconds before that goal was scored anyway for striking Beckham (who reacted brilliantly by not retaliating). And how many penalties didn't the ref or linesmen spot? (Heskey being TUGGED to the floor, Beckham being knocked over, etc...).

I didn't say that the player should have been sent of for fouling Beckham in the area, but for reeling out at Beckham (for some unknown reason) afterwards.
Actually they WERE good to begin with. Can you say any recent keeper is as good as Gordon 'The Cat' Banks was, any player who shows the same spirit as Nobby Stiles, who danced a merry jig after winning the cup, any players as talented as the Charlton brothers, the list goes on...
And I take from your 'England's only World Cup was given to them by referee's' quote you meant the way the controversial third goal was allowed as it never went over the line. I have seen some stupid refereeing decisions in my time and perhaps that goal should never have been allowed, but surely we have never deserved the 'hand of god' or to lose against Argentina in the World Cup, when we played like true lions! The fact is it goes both ways mate!
Anyway I digress, the fact is we won 4-2 not 3-2, by the famous 'some people are on the pitch...' goal. And we were better than West Germany, we didn't have the luxury of them playing p**s poor in a final like Brazil versus France, we had to beat them PROPERLY. my point is we were the best team in the world, and we didn't need a referee in our pocket. Christ, it feels like we are always playing against twelve men, not twelve on our side, oh no!
To end, Sven Goran Eriksson believes (after watching that Italy game) that we have enough talent to go on and win the 2006 world cup! With a manager of that calibre, we might just do that! We won Germany on our home ground... now we'll do it on their turf!

in wembley. and we should have won the Championsleague in 1998-1999 vs. Manchester.
ok Manchester really is a good team but you can ask everybody who isn't manchester-fan. Everybody will tell you, that we were the stronger team. ok we lost, but we won't loose again. You won't even qualify to wc2002 because we kicked you and we will do it again and again. England never played good soccer. Euro2000 is over and GERMANY is back for good!!!!!! remember that!

to Juventus - well you asked what our excuse was for our last two awful results in the Wc Qualifiers, well here it is - Kevin Keegan!
Lol, its just happens that the English football association made that idiot manager of our team and we had to suffer his clueless attempts at managing the national team, hopefully with a coach that knows what he's doing we will do a lot better in the future.
As to Bayern Munich - Germany lost in Euro 2000 to us if you cant remember, and you beat us just lately, i admit, but in all my time I have never seen such a bad German team as they one you have now, we have got rid of the useless Kevin Keegan and can only be better for it in out next games, but you on the other hand dont seem to have any way of returning to the football you played in the past.
AS regards the Euro cup final against Manchester united, I've never seen such an arrogant bunch as that Bayern Munich team, they scored one goal and then arrogantly thought they had the game won, how could anyone act so superior and arrogant as they did, They didnt even bother attacking anymore , except on the break after they had that goal, as they foolishly thought one goal would be enough.
Do you know what the English commentator sais on tv just before we equalised? he said " Can Manchester United score? they ALWAYS score" !
Those words have gone down in history as they did just that seconds later, seems everyone knew utd had goals in them except Bayern.
Did you see the look of shock on lothar mattheus's face when they eqaulised? lol it was a picture! because he honestly thought they had won it.
You have to remember this was a team, with a never say die spirit, that beat the mighty Juventus on their own ground when they were 2-0 down at the start and Juve had an away goal too, this utd team was a team were not beaten until the very last breath, and they deserved to win it because they did not give up, they knew they could do it, and the arrogant Germans were taken totally by surprise.
Even non Manchester United fans in this country admit they loved that moment of seeing the germans distraught when we scored those goals against them, it was such a beautiful sight to see
by the way, interesting fact for you, that game was played on what would have been Sir Matt busbies '90'th birthday, ( the man utd mangager of the team who crashed in the munich air disaster who mangaged the busby babes, was the first manager to win the European cup for Utd, and shaped the club) and man utd scored 2 goals and won the game in the '90'th minute,against 'MUNICH'
now is that fate or what?
Anyway, heres to a rosy future!

I was praising Man utd for the season they won the Champions league, in which they won an unprecedented treble of trophies that season, never before done in history.
Since then they have not been as good, and this year have had problems, but I think Bayern are aching for revenge, but you can never get it unless it is in another final with us and you win, because we snatched the trophy from out of your hands, and your players will be traumatized by that for the rest of their lives, something they will never get over
I think you sound a little bitter, and have something against English football, we enjoy playing germany and the close competitive games we have had over the years, always great matches with lots of passion and action, and as for Arsenal, they are more French than English, but I think Bayern will find they are a good team, so beware, they could knock you out.
