Explain Your Rivalry

As A Brazilian we have a rivalry with Argentina. I tend to think this is the biggest in the world but its not necesseraly true. Our rivalry goes back because we are the two best in south america, and most the time in the world :p Also the Pele-maradona thing will forever divide us as a people.

When we play (and we will play a friendly in april 27!!) it is always a heated game and players give it their best and dont really care much fro being too polite. Neither the players or the fans!

Ive seen rivalries where the crowd would kill each other instantly! I tend to support Madrid, their fans WOULD LOVE to kill each other if they could. Its a political and social thing. Catalonyans dont want to be a part of Spain and Madrid is THE CAPITAL! However when the players get on the field theyre all friends. All the Brazilians are really good friends so they never get into fights. they play a respected game for the most part.

another interesting rivalry Id like to mention is the Man U- Arsenal one. This rivalry doesnt stand out because of the fans, it stands out because of the PLAYERS! No other team Ive seen hates each other more. Keane-vieira, ruud-and all of arsenal. Not to mention fergie and wenger! These matchups are good to watch cuz you know theyll be some sort of fight or red card, or punishment by the FA somehow.

Rochester's rivalry with Montreal comes from them always playing eachother in important games. Last season during a game in Rochester, it was halftime. Both teams were walking into the tunnel at the same time. Montreal's Nevio Pizzolitto and Rochester's Lenin Steenkamp were trash talking to each other and Pizzolitto head butts Steenkamp and a meley occurs. Luckily the Stampede was on the other side if the pitch or else all hell would have broke loose. Two other Impact players were ejected from that game.

firstly Arsenal and spurs are rivals because we stole their area (6). Arsnal originated from Woolwich in south london (woolwich armoury thus why were' called Arsenal). but the legendary Hurbert Chapman moved us up north into Haringay about a mile away from White Hart Lane. they were very annoyed at this because we were and are the bigger team and they were no longer the biggest team in north london.


The england rvialaries-

Argentina- Falkland Island crisis + the cheat of God= enemies

Germany- Many past conflicts over the centuries

Scotland- Does that really need explaining?

Argentina and Brasil rivalry is the most famous in South America...although I hate Brasilians when we play against each other, I have nothing against them the rest of the year...I would actually love to visit Brasil....

Another one is the Argentina vs England...for all it means

For them having hit one of our ships on the "no-hit zone" for having won with the support of the US, because without them they probably would have lost, and for having gone in search of a territory that is soooooo far away, and logically belongs to Argentina for the closeness to our territory....and for the Hand of God, the most brilliant action by the most brilliant player, MARADONA (D10S)

1) qualify to as many WCs as us
2) win as many Gold Cups as us
3) beat us more times than we've beaten them

I was watching fox news today and they showed some terrorists with masks and guns on, and one of them was a wearing an INTER JERSEY!!! LOL even terrorists like soccer!

see argentinians think the hand of god was something "Good" thus our rivalry is exposed. ;)
