oh and does anyone know at what time next week's match against Osasuna will be played? I got a friend that wants to go to camp nou to see the match and therefore he wants to know at what time the game will start...

Sunday, 24 Oct, FCB-Osasuna (21:00).

Here in Croatia, every match between:
-clubs at the top of the table (ie Barca - Valencia)
-clubs from the bottom of the table (ie Mallorca - Numancia)
-big clubs (ie Barca - Madrid)
-city rivals (ie Barca - Espanyol)

is called a derby.

And Grunger, when I talk about Barca and mention the derby in Milano, how hard can it be to realise that I'm talking about the Milan - Barca match?Even if you don't use the word 'derby' for such games, I can't see how you didn't know what I'm talking about.

Puyol is doubtful for the CL game.

He and Deco didn't train today.

I hope he's fit for the game, we can't afford this now..

@americangreg, sorry, I still don't have the highlights

I knew you were talking about the game, because you mentioned it as the next game for Barça, and the next game is against Milan. I asked Derby in Milano simply because Barça vs Milan isnt a derby.

Derby is a term used for matches between teams of the same city or very close cities. There are a few exceptions though, like the Derby D'Italia, which is between Juve and Inter (you could consider Italy as a "town" where the 2 clubs live though). Maybe Barça vs Madrid, as the Derby of Spain too.:)

I have a question....
I was reading 442 magazine and they had a picture of Barca winning the European cup in 1992 and Figo and Ronaldo were in the picture......
my questions are:
when did they really win this? (Ronaldo wasnt in barca when he was 16)
What is the difference between the european cup and CL? why did they change the name and how has it changed?

They changed the name to make it more Prestige i think.

Its worked though because its profile is in the same category as the World Cup now. And some would argue that better football is played in it.

As for Ronaldo, i too think he was either in Brazil or at PSV then and I think Figo was at Barca then.

I think Barca beat Sampdoria in the final u r talking about (1-0 and may have been at Wembley)

well ive done some research for ya, and i've managed to narrow it down to either the kings cup or the cup winners cup in 1996-1997 when sir bobby robson was incharge. I think it is the cup winners cup when they beat PSG 1-0, but not too entirely sure. Who knows i might be wrong altogether, i wish i could read spanish.

Yeah.....he played great as a DM....moved the ball well....tracked back and helped out the D and also moved forward well with some really great passes....He had a good match...normally when I have watched Barca games you don't see that much of him, but this match he was very much a presence.
