Oh, the joys of living in Brazil...

We won't get the entire Spanish GP thanks to the Pope who decided it was a good time to come around... All nice, this being a major catholic country and all that, but come on... not on a race weekend! Also, why cover a mass live on TV?

On a side note, the Pope's Portuguese is better than our president's.

There's going to be a F1 race next year in Singapore might be even a night one if safety conditions etc permits.

There also might be one in Valencia if the governor of Valencia something along the lines (pardon my ignorance) wins a election.

Sweet an F1 race in Singapore i'm sure as hell going to go, i just wonder where the hell the pit garages are going to be as the area around the proposed street race circuit is pretty congested with buildings.

Radio + formula1.com's live coverage will have to do for the last hour or so... :(

Isn't that just the best idea, ever (H)

The Valencia track has been confirmed. They have also obtained a seven year deal, starting in 2008, if the guy wins the elections end of this month.

Weird way of dealing...

Couldn't watch the whole race today, as expected, but it looks like it was quite dull... the only nice moment in the first hour was Massa holding off Alonso in the first corner...

doubt that. I can remember crappy teams with awful pay drivers in the past doing that all the time. You never know tho. OH and webber is(or should i say was) deff the most overrated driver in the sport. He's nothing more than just an average guy, even bellow average who just has some good qual performances from time to time.

Yellow Card
Eddie Irvine: "I think Felipe's done a great job. He looked stupid in Malaysia, but you have to say that he was all over Hamilton. He looked like he could have got him. Raikkonen then pulled up behind him when Massa went off and he couldn't even get close.

Felipe's been bloody quick. In Malaysia he probably should have taken it a bit easier and got more points but since then he's done a fantastic job. Raikkonen just hasn't been on the pace the whole season really. Massa has been on top of him in winter testing and the first four races.

He's (Raikkonen) going to have to get his act together or stop drinking because if he's not winning he can't be drinking."

Scuderia Ferrari is more "blue-chip" than McLaren, who are very volatile! Their highs are higher than Ferrari while their lows are lower...overall consistency is what is delivered by Ferrari.

Broke his leg, that's all. Expected to be out for two months.

Massa and Fisichella should have their license revoked for entering the track passing a red light. :nape:

I don't know if any of you guys saw this but Montoya won his first race in NASCAR Nextel Cup today showing those guys how to drive on a road course. He started 32nd. If anything this is clearly a testament that F1 drivers are the best in the world.

I watched it. I was happy for him, only the second non-US driver to ever win a Cup race, but he needs to clean up his passing. This way everyone will just end up wanting to wreck him as often as they can.
