How do I know which individual tactic I have to use for each player?

And is there a page like fifa2000 where I can get more tips and hints about this game?

At the end of the season, and the last week of the season, actually start signing free agents. And, as I counted, for the last week of the season you usually have have a lot of money, and zero pounds to pay your players because it is the end of the season. So, usually when it is June 18-23 start signing free agents. Here what might be a problem: if you will sign a high wage player on, for example june 27th, those players will come to your team in july, which means you will get fired. So, make sure you see the players you signed in your team roster before the game will set up another season. But sign them as late as possible to the end of the season. With this kind of tactic (it's not cheating!) I have got promoted to the Premieship from the conference. Vheck this creenshot out:

See the team at the 10th place. Recognize? Yeas, Merthyr Tydfil, which plays in under-conference leagues now. When they got promoted to the conference, in my second season, I took over the club and got promoted up to the Premiership! I even beat Arsenal 4:3 at the Highbury! I didn't use the cheat nor hexediting -- I just used the money making tactic I wrote before. So, I can be called an "expert" in this game. Tell me what you think about the screenshot, please.

Whoa, I thought everybody was over this already. Believe me, this is my 10th time I post FAPFLM 2000 cheats here.
So, to access the cheat, you will need to right click the FM desktop icon and choose properties. In the "Target" section, the required cheat should be typed onto the end of the line. Multiple cheats can be put here, but make sure to put a space between each one.
/fastbuild777 - Quick building of external buildings/stadiums
/showstat777 - Show off the stats of other players without researching them
/cash777 - Gives you more money at the beginning of any season. Sometimes doesn't work, and, sometimes, you do not know if it is working. But it surely works, when, for example you take ove a 3rd division team and stay in the division -- at the beginning of the next season you will have lots of money. And, if you are new, please read the tips that are posted in this topic -- they will surely help you.

I am tired of the game, by the way. If you will look at the screenshot I posted in my previous topic, you will see that I really went too far with the game. Now, I am trying to hexedit it...

I`d like to say that FAPLM2000 is basicly a good game, but so many bugs which you folks are been numbered before.
But I must say that concept of the game is very nice if only 3d engine is improved litlle to be like fifa 96 or premier manager 98 or so.

Yes I would like to hear about your "solving money probem". ButI have a few tips, too, which I posted in here before. And, since you are new, would please look at the screenshot I posted here couple posts before and tell me what you think about it.
So, I tried hexediting. I got a letter from Stephen Cooper, the guy that is managing a German FIFA Site. He had recieved the letter from other guy, named Bolso. The letter contained how to hexedit the game, basicaly, but it never worked out for me. I am still trying, though. If you want the letter, e-mail me at [email protected]
The letter really is tough to understand because the guy who worte it was not an Englishman.
And about "non" hexediting tips:

Other kinds of tips are really simple, but they work.

The stupidiest bug in the game is that when you get promoted to the Premiership from 3rd or 2nd divisions, players from the teams that started higher than yours will not come to you. I was trying to buy Benjamin from Cambridge Utd. when I was playing with Wrexham in the Premiership, and he never came to my club when I was about to buy him. The same was with other First division players. It's like they do not want to play in English Premier League.

So, if you have some tips I didn't hear about, Johny, please feel free to post them here.

My bugs are:
1.When Yorke takes a penalty he changes into Giggs
2.A striker can be two yards out miss and then scoop the rebound high and wide this happens about 100000000000000 each game
3.When I make subsitutes my goalie runs around the pitch like he is an out field player
4.I joined a club as manager but then the game said I was laready manager and crashed this happened 3 times

I am Hexediting too. To change the budged is easy but I have a hard time to find my player stats. I use the A.X.E Editor like the letter says but I can't find them!
I also found out that you can change the income for each month but it doesn't do anything to the budget! Even if your income is 999.999.999 each month.
Can someone tell me how to find the player stats, and how to change them?
By the way I have the german version!

YEs, I was complaining, I should say that CM is a tactic game! You answered, like I said something bad about you, your country, etc. If you are talking about CM, then good for you! But the first managment game I ever played was Premier Manager 99 of Actua Sports, and there you controled everything. Chairmen only could fire/hire you.
About CM Series, the game is slow and it is pretty hard to play without editing the game. I agree, FAPFLM 2k has more bugs, but anyways. And I finished complaining about CM a long time ago. CM 99/00 is a great game, but just do not wish to play it.

Hey gang!

I havent had a chance to play the game much lately, but i just won 3 division and got promoted to the second. Again, i am facing the same problems. I dont make enough money to move to the next level and some players on my team stop playing all of a sudden.
And it doesnt just happen at the end of the season, it also happens in the middle. Some of my players develop pretty well and their price goes up 3-4 times. But their contracts stay the same!!! What would a player do in a real world if he plays like Zedane and he gets 700 a week??? He would go on strike or something, thats what i would do... But!!!! I tried to encreas those players wages, amended their contracts and they agreed to my offer, but they didnt start playing! On my teams players who stop playing are either players who dont play alot or players whose price increased alot with no increas in their wages. But why dont they start playing after u give them good contract??? Somebody has to either call EA europe, the phone number is in the booklette or we have to find their email and email them with that question!!! Anybody lives in england?!?!?! Call them, or lets find their email!!! I m not sure this is a bug, but even if it is, maybe they have a patch to fix it.
On a good side.... when a player stops playing, u cant sell or loan him out.... but!!! you can trade him for another player!!! What i also have done was i released a player and theh bought him right back, the transfer value is 0. The only downside is u have to pay signing bonus, and if it is a really good player your chairman wouldnt let u free transfer him out.
But this is a stupid way, there must be a better way

I dont care so much about buying new players, i just want to get my existing players to play for me

The game is very easy! I do not even know why does it look so hard! I mean, it is easy to play in 3rd English division, and then get promoted to 2nd division. But when you get promoted to Premiership, things really begin to look hard -- I played with Carlisle, and I got promoted from 3rd div. to the English Premiership, but then it really sucked -- when I wanted to buy a player, the players reject me. For example, a second division player didn't want to leave his 2nd division team for Premiership, where my team was playing. That really sucked! But, Basten, I posted a good tip how to save millions on player wages before, read the beginning of page two of this post.

I tried to hexedit the budget (stadium money), as that letter that I got from Steve Cooper said. But when I went to the game, I had 0 pounds for it! I do not know how the hexediting worked out for some people.

does anybody know how many seasons you are allowed to play on Premier league manager 2000 i mean is there a number of season you could play and after you reach that number do you have you to start it all over again

This cheat realy works so try it !
If somebody can help me with calculate offsets I can rearange hole thing!

Use a Hex Editor and open the saved game you wish to edit.

In the "Edit " menu, select "Go To" and specify the "offset" to edit.

The "offset" are as follows:

"Misc" - 00F16225

"Transfers" - 00F161F5

"Buildings/Stadium" - 00F1621D

"Player Wages" - 00F161D5

"Staff Wages" - 00F161BD

"Maintenance/Facilities" - 00F161FD

Simply type over the Hex String at the above offsets with 65CD BD41
Save when you're done, start and load the game you´ve just edit and you will have aprox 500000000 pounds.

This only works if you start new game,I mean

1. Start the game F.A. Premier League Football Manager 2000.
2. Pick your team and change the Manager name if you want to.
3. When you’re in the game, save it.
4. Exit F.A. Premier League Football Manager 2000.
.
and when you start new season you must do it all over again beacouse you will not have any "big" money only what yours club initaly have so all your players who have big wages or staff or anything else be in minus (-) so you get fired.

It's possible to prioritize budgets! There is a little file on the PLFM - CD, the name is "tweaks.twk". Look at the file with an editor, Notepad or so. Copy it to your harddrive and change the values you wish. It works! Have Fun! VanGogh
