FA Premier Football League Manager 2000 Bugs; here are two

Actually, it is very very very easy to get promoted from the 2nd division when begin playing there. But it is very hard when you get promoted to the next level. For example, I took over Daghenham & Redbridge when they got promoted to the Conference (without me-- I trained other team). It was pretty easy to stay in the conference and then, I promoted to 3rd division. It was easy playing too, when I got promoted to the 2nd division. Then. When I looked over my rosters, and Barnet's rosters (they got promoted with me) I saw that their roster is much much much better than mine. In two seasons, I collected a good roster, and Dag & Red is in 1st division. I began losing every game; there was nothing I could do--all teams had gods in their rosters.
Yes, there is other way... to crack the game. I got a letter from a guy, who already hexedited and changed his teams budget. But he explained it very unclearly, and nothing worked on my verison.................... Although it is called cheating, too.

See, i dont want to get into the game in order to change it and win. I wanna play by their rules and win.
My problem is the money. I dont have enough to build any external buildings, thus my team develops very slowly. Then if u get promoted, i got to buy more good players, and then i overspend my wages. Right now i play in a second division, i m somewhere in the middle of the table and my team is one of the better ones player skill wise in the second division.
As i said, it is not hard to win, but i cant make money!!! How do u make money in that freaken game?!?!?!

Its like u have to sit in one league for 10 years to make enough money for your team.
Oh, and also, i m not sure, but when your player stops doing anything in the following season, he might be unhappy or something, u got to increase his contract. It might not be a bug. I m not sure though.
There is a way to give players bonuses. Do u know how?

BTW in CM3 Alexei Alyakrinsky from Spartak
is called 'Alyakrinsky Alexey' , and 50 percent of the newly generated young players have a first name 'Alyakrinsky' (other 50% are Prizetko or some 'Inal Modzahedov')
And how do you (as a Russian) like polish keeper Bledzewski?

you can add bonuses in players' contracts. Like "We ahve prepared to pay you 2,200 pounds per annum..."
and under that there are a lot of clauses. You can find a goal, assist and game bonuses in there. Fun.

Actually, every year there is a different story. Sometimes you can get lucky with sponsor. Sometimes not. When I took over Dag & Red in Conference, my stupid business consultant got a sponsor for 5 (!!!) years who generated some pennies per year. So, my fifnancial crisis was because of that. You should count stuff, actually, before going in the red. Just read my 2 last messages.
BTW, have you ever played a friendly game?

Borysenko was in CSKA Kyiv the same reason Kuzmichev was the main striker in Spartak in FIFA 2000. I mean, perhaps he is a reserve player in real CSKA Kyiv squad, you never know. And with Alyakrinsky bug I noticed that a lot time ago.
In CM, they have another bug; have you heard of team named Asmaral? Yes, they played in Russian Premier League in 1992 and 1993, but then, they got relegated to 1st, then 2nd divisions consequently. Now they play in KFK, Moscow State League. What the hell are they doing in CM 3 and CM 99/00? I mean, the team has relegated to whatever league it played in.

in fa premier league manager there are not a lot of Russian teams. hope someone makes a good research on that in the new version of the game. Also, i was going over some teams, and i saw gambian teams more frequently than Russian. what were FA plm 2k EA thinking?

Hey, guys

To play a friendly game u have to go to tables/calendar, then u right click on the day u want to play your friendly, and it will give u a list of teams that u can play with. But.... you can only play friendly games in a preseason, which is first month of your season(in english league at least)
if u still cant do it, tell me, but its pretty easy... u cant play friendly matches once the season starts, and if u have a break in a season, there is nothing you can do about it, cant play.... only the first month or so before u play your first regular season or cup match

Oh, another thing....... the bug that u were talking about, when players stop playing.....
i m not sure its a bug!!! we got to call ea sports or that support # in a booklet. But i live in usa and i dont want to call there, to be honest with you

But i had one player who stopped playing right in the middle of the season

cant sell him also. But i m testing something... i keep one cheap player on my team who doesnt practice to see if he will start in the new season
we ll see.....

yeah, yeah I will try...
I do not play the game frequently, 'cause I just hate when I get fired for nothing. Also, the game crashes too often. For example, it crashes when I try to buy a player (I click "approach player" and I go straight to......desktop). All I can is to sign players on the free transfer. One time, in my youth team, I had players with skill of 59. That was so great, but they had the same positions. Can you believe that? Two guys at the age of 15 became the leaders in m team.

Actually, I didn't have a lot of problems promoting to 3rd and 2nd division, but I really SUCK when I try to play in the 1st. I didn't play the game for about a week.

The game SUCKS because it crashes often.
In my third season, I go to transfer list, offer money for a player, then, when the other team accepts, I go to approach player, send......and I go out to Windows desktop. I can only sign players, though.

I played with Rotherham(or however u spell it) Got promoted to the 2nd division my first season. In th second division i got alot of good players for free on my team... by good i mean everybody on my team is over 47, and good ones are 55-59, one is 60. I didnt buy them, got them for free. But i overspent my players wages. So here is what happened... with 10 games left in the season i was 5 points behind the 1st plase team. Then i got fired for overspending players wages.

Oh, in the middle of the season one of my players stopped playing (your bug perhaps, or maybe thats the way it is supposed to be?
Now i started new season with York... i want to try and stay in the 3 division for a couple of years and make some money before i go to the second one. We ll see

THE BEST BUY YOU WILL EVER MAKE IS KORNAUKHOV FROM CSKA MOSCOW;
HIS OVERALL SKILL IS 84, BUT HIS REAL SKILL IS 43 (84 IS WHEN HE PLAYS CENTRAL DEFENDER, AND 43 IS WHEN HE PLAYS ANC AND DM). HE COSTS ONLY ABOUT 40,000, AND HIS WAGE IS ABOUT 500 PER WEEK, BUT WHEN YOU PUT HIM AT THE CD POSITION, HIS SKILL WILL RISE UP TO 84. HE IS THE BEST BUY YOU CAN EVER MAKE.
OK, I played about 6-10 games, and everytime I got that bug: I cannot buy players. I can sign them, but I cannot buy them.
My best game was when I took over Dagenham and Redbridge in conference, and I got promoted to 1st division in 3-4 years.
Also, I played with Wrexham AFC, and I got promoted to the Premier Division.
Now I am playing with Merthyr Tydfil, and I am in hte 1st division. I hope I will finish playing in the Premiership!
I love the game, but it crashes, and all I want to do after it does is to brake the CD in pieces.

Ok, guys...
Here is the problem that i have in my second season.... All of a sudden in the middle of the season 3 of my good players stopped playing!!! I really dont think this is a bug!
It might be, but i m not sure. We got to get our english friends to call that number in the book, the hint line or something like that and ask about it.

Russian Rocket Kornaukhov.. thanks, i ll check him out. Oh, one more thing... Try defender name Ata. He is good, develops 7 poings in the first season i think, and his price triples. But u got to buy him right away. His original price is 178K, and in about 2 weeks it is over 300K

PS The biggest thing i hate about this game is that even when u get fired u have to start over, and not contnue the game.
BTW.. Did anybody tried to apply for a job in another club of a higher division or had any offers for it? Did it work at least once when u applied?

OK, I will check ata.
There is another good buy, David Jones from Wrexham AFC. If you play in terrible leagues, such as conference, or third division, you have to buy this guy. His price is about 15k, and Wrexham will surely sell it to you. He is special because his overall skill on AM postion is about 28-30. And I think it rises up later in the seasons. But when you put him to play as the center forward, his overall skill will rise to 49-50-55. And on his borthday, his skill rises a lot. His birthday in the game is approximately November 16 -- on that day his skill will rise that day.
And, I had the same bug: sometimes some players dissapear from my team. It is allright if a player with 20's skill will dissappear, but I really hate when my best player dissappears. When you type their names in the player search, it will tel you that theyt are in my team, but when I go to TEAM --> SQUAD, I don't see them in there. the good thing is that you can sell them.
And about calling them in England -- it would be better to e-mail them, but I do not think they will respond.

BTW, Does anybody know anything about FA Premier Football League Manage 2001?

Just a question about this game, is it possible to make up a squad of whatever players you choose and play them in the game?

Just asking because someone had idea of simulating a combined roster Rome(Lazio and Roma) vs Milan (AC and Inter)game.

I mean is it possible for you to buy players without restrictions, because I imagine if they put restrictions such as you dont have enough money for transfer fees or if the players refuse to join then it would be pretty difficult to buy half of Lazio's players.

So I guess what Im asking is it possible theoretically to lets say be manager of Roma and then go buy most of Lazio's best players? Would you have enough money in your budget to do that?

Teoreticaly, you can buy all players you want. I mean it is possible, but every managment game has the restrictions with money. For example, ALL AC milan players will cost you a lot of money. The maximum amount of transfer money I saw was 20 million pounds (of course, you can sell some player and get more). But there is only one thing I REALLY HATE about CM 99/00 and FA Premier Football League Manager 2000 is that your chairman gives you some money for wages, stadium upgrade, etc. So, for example, you want to buil a good stadium. But your chairmen gives you a lot of transfer money instead. That what I really hate. You are the manager, and I think you can control finances too. Maybe this should help.
