wow its been a really good game so far. Who would of thought inter would be winning it and win it playing the way they are.

3-1 at the moment. Maybe Barca can pull it back. I guess you also got luck on your side that at this stage there's a 2nd leg.

Pep: "Thanks God Inter eliminated CSKA." (H)

I bet Pep wishes CSKA had gone through.

We come to Milano in bus and they will probably park it in the box.

Maybe Barcelona should have tried that strategy.

Gotta love Barca fans over-confidence.

why do they put a Portuguese referee?

Because a Portuguese team wasn't playing!

Don't makes excuses, you got beat fair and square by the merdazzurri.

That penalty against Inter was really penalty. That was an error that would make things a little better to Barça.

The rest of the game, Inter played better, Messi "wasnt his usual self" but it was ok. Great game by Inter.

EDIT: About the referee, i could say something about that, but for a reason i dont know , their style of whistling in Portuguese league its completely different from the one in CL.

Because he's Mourinho's and Figo's mate and Milito's goal its clear offside. But its ok, inter were better.

Figo played in Barça too.

Milito's goal wasnt CLEAR offside to me, it was difficult to say, to me, its in line with Pique. But i recognize that were some fouls that the referee didnt whistle.

Milito was in clearely offside at third goal!

The reff's performance was shameless,tonight!

However our team has the strength to pull 2 goals back!:)

Congrats to Inter,anyways!

lol at Italian directory. They only showed the reply of the offside goal from the perspective that we could see the offside once, while from the cameras down on the pitch dozens of times.

Imagine how the linesman could've seen it. It was very tight to be fair, the decision could've gone either way. But as the rule book states, any the benefit of a doubt must given to the attacking player.

Barca will be pumped up at the Nou Camp for sure, I'm just wondering what Jose's gameplan will be.

It'll be interesting. :)

Well, my point wasn't that.

I mean they didn't replayed it as much as they should have done. They only did it once and without stopping the moment the ball was passed.

But, yes, there always exists this "how the linesman could have seen it". But that's why they are there; that's their job, they can do mistakes as everyone else.

That wasn't the only "mistake" from referees tonight. There were several fouls that were whistled against us without a reason. Cesar was always taking up to 1 min to play the ball (and he didn't get booked). Puyol was booked for something stupid - after the pressure that Inter players did on that Mourinho's compatriot. There was a penalty on Alves, and there could have been some other penalties on those situations such as corners or crosses that were coming in Inter's zone. But we never saw the replays for those, but players on the field were arguing. Barça players are used to go to the referee at the end of the match and to talk with him, but they did it this time. And you see it very rarely happening; actually, I don't remember the last time it happened.

But again, referee didn't lost us the game, we lost it by ourselves. But without referees' "mistakes", the result would have been different.

Well to be fair I wasn't surprised Motta wasn't booked. Same thing happened against us as well, his chain of fouls is really annoying to cope with and breaks the attacking rhythm of any team.

Samuel and Lucio are very hard to break down, they coped with Drogba well and they did same against Ibra tonight.

Yes we shouldn't blame a player, the defensive line or just the referee, whole team were unrecognizable last night. If in the second leg we are Barça again, we will make it.

Mourinho its just playing his game, did the same with Rijkaard but Pep its smarter and ignore him. Jose knows that in Football vs Football Barça wins, its playing with his weapons. He's XXI century HH.

We all know Mourinho i don't understant why are you wasting your time, Rijkaard in the past mistake and enter to his provocation games, it end bad because the team did the same and when the match start it was like a war, we don't played more than 10 minutes of football i think. Pep won't do the same, you will probably only listen him saying beauty things about Mourinho after Xerez match.
