btw, no one has mention, and there's no point to mention it now, but just for the record: the referee denied us a clear penalty (on Xavi), and Estudiantes goal was an offside. He was one of the worst referees I've seen in a while.
For example, since we are talking for Zlatan, he whistled a foul, while Zlatan was defending the ball with his body lol. And we were losing 1-0 at that time, so imagine how you feel in those moments.

agreed ... but you can't be surprised that there are people out there who do that ...Mandieta6;2787602 said:Ronaldo is more complete than Messi. Other than defending, what doesn't he do well? I remember they once did an article about which aspects to take from the best players in the world to make up a super-player, and Ronaldo could've easily filled half the attributes, instead he just got 'heading'.
I really hate the guy, but I think many people are letting his personality taint their image of him as a player.
In terms of skill and talent, I'd pick Ronaldo over Messi 90% of the time, the 10% being if I'm pciking one of them to play for Barca. Ronaldo has performed for Portugal at levels Messi hasn't gotten close to for Argentina.

completely aside from that fact, you have to recognize that this the Barcelona thread, and wanting the people in here to admit that Real Madrid's star player is better than Barcelona's star player, even in terms of individual ability, is very optimistic ... and in the wake of the winningest season ever, whose aforementioned star player has swept all the MVP awards, expecting anything less than a dismissal of your points would be bordering on foolish ...
what are you trying to prove? that they're blinded by bias? you know that, they know that ...
but can you imagine if Cristiano had the hots for Barcelona instead of Real Madrid? if he forced a move to Barcelona (likely not for a sum as high as 94 million) rather than to Real Madrid? do you really think they would begrudge him his due as a player of extraordinary skill? not a chance ... anyone who has watched Cristiano play knows what he is capable of ... they're going to pick on whatever perceived weaknesses he has ... calling him "Cristina" is one ... showing him having a peanut-sized brain is another ... it is apparently just what rivals are supposed to do ... I'm not condoning it, I'm just pointing what the situation is ... they won't (coz they can't) deny his ability ... you're just not going to hear them say it out loud too often ...
