Maybe they really didn't want to renew Kroos contract ...

They signed Alonso for 6.5m and upgraded his salary from 6m to 10m ... that kind of makes sense ... they needed someone to cover up for Kroos and their injured players ... they couldn't find this quality player in market with less than 20m .

Where does it say he played as CB? It says MC. Even if it didn't, a simple eye test would tell you he was playing in midfield. As someone whose club employs Busquets and actually has an MC playing as CB, you should be able to tell the difference by now.

And even if they did say it was CB, they would be wrong. You only have to watch the match to see that he was playing in midfield. Did you watch the match?
