Would have liked to see Donovan get a goal, but there's no way I can complain about this one.

EDIT: I don't think anyone mentioned it 3 weeks ago, but we signed Ivica Olic on a Bosman free transfer at the end of the year presumably as a replacement for Podolski. I think he will fit in beautifully with Toni and Klose as a backup and spot starter.

Ehhhhhhh, maybe. We haven't looked great yet. We have the potential if we play well, but I don't think any of us is going to say that we're on the same level as Barcelona, Inter, or the English teams.

Well not really, the two leg format ensures that the better team will advance more often than if it was a true 1 match knockout.

And for the record, I don't think you are that far ahead of Man U, Inter, and Liverpool. I'm not sure you're better than Man U at all to be honest.

I know that, but Man U has a much better defense, and in my opinion just has a more complete squad.

we've not the team to win the champions league, that's all, last 8 can be a good result 4 us, i only wish to win the bundesliga, nothing else......for the cl i hope a final with english teams, 4 me obviously i dream about Roma-Bayern but it's a dream and rests a dream, i guess man utd-juve or barca.....

I wouldn't call 911 on this loss Shifty. We kinda got tired midweek and we also played on Saturday. The DFB is screwing us big time with the schedulling. Couldn't they postpone the league match on Sunday?

On better/worse news you name it Toni Kroos was sent on loan to Leverkusen til the 2010 season. Almost a 2 year loan. I hope he develops and full fits his potential and comes back to take over the number 10 and our central midfield.

If Kroos is going to be playing for Leverkusen then it's a great loan. I really credit Lahm's 2 year loan to Stuttgart (?) as making him the player he is today. When Kroos comes back he'll be 20/21 and hopefully already be the best AM in the Bundesliga.

disagree, we have so few players and we loan kroos in leverkusen? idiot to me! we need new players, not to sell players to other teams, we risk to lose them forever and toni kroos is a really good player, we lost in hamburg cause we sucked the 1st half and cause the referee didn't give us 2 regular goals, the 1st of toni really don't understand what he's seen, we deserved almost 1 point, ok we played bad but i like justice and in this match i didn't see any kind of justice, the ball of klose in the 2nd half was all in the net, another goal, shame ribery has sucked too much this time, very hard now in this chaos play for our guys, hope we'll be back soon........

There's a rumor that we just signed Anatoliy Tymoschuk from Zenit at the end of the season for 10 million euros, the same price we're getting from Koln for Poldi. Good buy.
