Arnau;2633113 said:then sign sami khedira. xD
Arnau;2633127 said:what i cant undersant its the load of tony kroos, the biggest german talent.
Bayern are not going to sell their best player two years before the end of his contract. They will offer him a new contract in the next months that would make him one of the best paid players in the world. If he doesn't want to stay beyond 2011 then we can talk about a possible transfer in the summer of 2010 but nothing's gonna happen before that.Arnau;2632891 said:according the medias the club has the OK of bayern to talk with ribery. what i think, ribery its just a big name of the staff for next season and the newspaper think its already signed
It looks like Ze will sign another contract extension so he'll play alongside Tymoschuk next season. And then there's Schweinsteiger who wants to play in the middle. Bringing in a new fullback, a right attacking midfielder to complement Ribery and a goalkeeper has to be top priority.Deisler;2633102 said:Well we got Tymo so i really have no feelings on him leaving. If him leaving means we can go on the market and get a new CM than i am all for Cana.
Van Buyten is a decent squad player and is Ribery's best mate at the club. That deal wasn't that bad.ShiftyPowers;2633124 said:The worst example of our incompetence was the summer of 2006 when we decided to spend 10M on Daniel van Buyten (Hamburg then took that money and replaced him with Vincent Kompany ), instead of 5M on Per Mertesacker, who was 21 and already the best defender in Germany.
The thing is if he were a few years younger he'd be going to England or Spain. We stand no chance of signing the likes of Mascherano (some people here seriously overrate Cana btw.) and there are no good DMs in the Bundesliga so Tymoschuk was the best available and didn't cost a fortune. He still has a few years of quality football left in him.And I love Tymoschuk, but the man is going to be 30 when he signs for us. We basically refuse to sign players under 30. It's incompetent. There's no long term strategy at all; we just try to string the success 2 more years longer.
Hleb would be a great addition. We were interested in him last year and there are rumors that we might go after him again this summer (Hleb-Tymoschuk-Ze Roberto-Ribery, that doesn't look too shabby ).ShiftyPowers;2633110 said:EDIT: And honestly, if we had to sell Ribery, I think Hleb would be a decent replacement. He was a success in the Bundesliga before.

Elber2k3;2633162 said:Yeah Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Berlin have the best youth systems in Germany right now with Hoffenheim probably joining them soon.
But youth sports systems in Germany in general are pretty bad or net even really existing, beginning with absolutely nonsense p.e.
I might sound stupid now, but who is this Hamsik guy? I have heard his name before, but I have no idea what's so special about him.
Deisler;2633181 said:I am still not sold of this Baumjohann guy. He looks to me like a second coming of Shlaudraff. I mean he was discarded at Schalke and all of a sudden became great in Glad'bach? I am not sold on him at all.
I was watching some TSV clips and i noticed they had a pair of youngsters i really liked. They turned out to be twins lol. I am talking about Lars and Sven Bender. Since Vince is here and since we all agree he is more in touch with German talent i wanted to get his take on those two. Anything in particular? Or just hyped kids?
Also i want to touch a topic not many are mentioning. Seems Diego is bound to leave Brehmen. Why not in Munich? Imagine him, Schweinny, Tymo and Ribery. That would settle our midfield and allow us to concentrate in more urgent matters such as finding a decent goalie, signing a new right back (Hinkel or perhaps Zhirkov anyone?) and sign another striker to complement Toni and Klose.
CBs should be kept as they are. Lucio, Micho and Van Buyten should be platooning til Breno is ready to take that center of defense over.
