More similar to Man Utd then. That maybe one of the reasons of you and Manutd being hugely successful in your respective leagues but not so much(Barca/Real like) in Europe. United had a Cristiano when the last won the CL.

I didn't really get the Ozil thing you said.

bdw, Why not try and get some upcoming superstar like Hazard?(watch his last two goals if you want) Paolo was talking about replacing Robben so that would great. The kid is great but has a bad attitude though.

Poet, I dont want to replace Robben (I want him in München til the end his career) but I'd only wish to have a really good substitute when he's injured kind now, our trouble is that we have to change totally our way to play with Robben is one way, without him its another way, this looks at me strange.....:-)

edit-the same 4 Shifty-

Oh and tits.
@Shifty- I was saying like if you need a super player why not try and get somebody who is up and coming? You said currently you need someone like Messi/Ronaldo to take you to the next level so I was saying you should go for players like that.

@Paolo- Yeah I get that but I was like gradually replacing him with some up and coming super player.

@Horatiu- True me thinks.

No up-and-coming super player will come to sit on the bench for another 3 years, although it's a special case with Robben because he's injured so much.

Robben is 27 years old and we have Kroos and Muller. Paolo is overreacting.

+ Borja Valero is suspended which is a seriously blow for Villarreal.

Who said he needs to sit on the bench for another 3 years? Just play the guy when Arjen is injured and show his super quality. Knowing Robben he is gonna start bitching in no time.

Because he's still a ******* backup. Bayern isn't going to pay the wages someone like that will demand to sit on the bench, and someone like that isn't going to accept a backup role. It makes no sense. Even with Robben's injury history, he's still put together healthy stretches; just for example, this backup would not have got a single game in 2009/2010, or any in the second half of 10/11. Just stop it. And the backup is already here, it's Kroos/Muller, are you suggesting THEY aren't good enough? Paolo just wants more depth, but depth doesn't mean, oh let's spend 30m and 100k/week on one of the most promising young talents in the world to play them behind Robben/Ribery/AND Muller (Kroos plays AMC and Muller replaces the injured wing). Stop it.

On another note, did you guys see this yesterday? (H)

It's a Middle Finger American Flag shirt, I assume for 9/11. Absolutely hilarious to see.

When I saw "did you guys see this yesterday?" I looked and thought the guy with the gay leg cross had his hand on the other guy's crotch.

Nope, FC Bayern is not that kind of team, in our history if we have a superstar he always borned into the team since he was very very young, we never spent lots of money for one player only kind Barça or Real can do......:-)

Funny thing is Real and Barca actually cant afford such sums, Bayern could. In matters of debts i mean. Hoeness said lately something like "We pretty much could pay around 80 mill. for one player without any kind of struggle. We just dont see anyone really worth that much who would be available. Maybe in a couple of years."

its strange but true, u got reason Melvin, but our management will never spend 80 millions 4 only one player, we never did so since I follow FC Bayern (around 42 years), our financial politic is very different if u consider the most expensive deal in our history has been Mario Gomez payd 30 millions €.....
