In a few years maybe. Not now. Could also be the price Dortmund make us pay if he asked for a transfer here.

I'd like to have Götze here but its very hard to think, we'll see......

If the transfer market continues to operate as it does, I think we could see Ronaldo's transfer fee surpassed by a worse player in the next 5 years.

A propos de l'argent......sorry the french kiss lol......Talking about money I remember the last time we won the champions league, these are the players and the price payed, there were no Euros still but DM of course:

OLIVER KAHN, free transfer by KSC in 1994
Willi Sagnol, we paid few money to Monaco, around 1 million in 2000
Bixente Lizarazu, we payd nothing in 1995
Sami Kuffour, with us since he was 17 old, free in 1996
Patrik Andersson, we paid around 1 million in 1999
Thomas Linke, free transfer from Schalke04 in 1999
Owen Hargreaves, from our youth team
Jens Jerry Jeremies, free transfer from 1860 München in 1998
Stefan Effenberg, free transfer from Borussia M. in 1998
Hasan Brazzo Salihamidzic, we payd few money to Hamburg, 1998
Giovane Elber, we paid few money for him to Stuttgart, ok not so few but not more than 5 millions, it was 1997
Mehmet Scholli Scholl, in 1992 free transfer from KSC

there's no doubt about Gotze talent but people are exaggerating his abilities, next Messi, Next Golden Ball .... UCL is a good opportunity for him to prove himself as a new mega star in Europe. I don't buy these price tags till that impression.

I dunno if he's as good as they say, but I'm definitely kind of fed up with the Gotze talk (which I've contributed to), but he's the current 'it' kid.

I think you remember the hype about Robinho "the next Pele", Bojan "the next Messi", David Bentley "the next David B" and ...

Time is the best judge, first he should repeat his success and shine in Dortmund. Also, I don't know why people forgot Sahin affect on Dortmund, they had major problems after his departure, tbh, Gotze was MVP after Sahin and Kawaga last year.

What? Are you serious ? You clearly haven't seen Dortmund play last year. Kagawa (btw it's kagawa not kawaga) was out for half the season and he was better than Gotze ? GTFO
I agree Sahin was very influential in them getting the bundesliga but not so much Kagawa.

Kagawa was the guy people were jizzing over in the first half, then he got injured in the Asian Cup and Gotze surpassed him in the second half. Gotze is obviously much better than Kagawa, but Sahin was the king of that team and he still would be if he was still there.

ja, without Nuri Sahin they didnt win the title last year.....now Götze is the best youngster all over the world!

good away win for Bayern in a really tough group.

It looks like Kroos will do lots of good this year.

Yeah, Kroos is looking really good. Something about Heynckes that gets the best out of him I guess. Nice to see him score from the run of play too, it's been awhile. The lasting image I have of him is missing an absolute sitter against Spain in the Semi-Finals last summer.

Big away day at Schalke tomorrow, and then hosting Leverkusen during Oktoberfest next Saturday. Schurrle picked up a red card today and will miss the match due to suspension.

BVB is out of title race so Bayern have only to keep on winning. I hope for an entertaining game against Schalke.
