How much do you guys think Alaba is worth right now? To me he's been the biggest surprise from your team. The dude is 19 years old and already playing with such courage. I feel bad he won't be in the final.

Yeah Madrid's problems are in the defense, the only ones who are more than decent are Pepe and Xabi but the latter isn't really defensive, they need someone next to him who's a real Makelele, not Khedira. Arbeloa would be awful for a lower/mid-table team's standards, and Marcelo and Coentrão were terrible this year. But Coentrão should NOT be played as a winger.

He's 19? Jeez. That dude came out of nowhere.

I think he was big in the youngster EUROs, though. But he's came out really strong, really quick. Amazing player, and he's younger than me. Makes me sad.

Mario: Look, a shooting star! Make a wish!
Tommy: That's Sergio Ramos' penalty ball.
Phil: Look at my t-shirt. I already have my wish. :')

congrats Shifty ...

Recently Gigi Buffon sent a jersey to Neuer with a message that he thinks Neuer is the best goalkeeper in Europe at the moment. Buffon always had admiration for fellow goalkeepers in Europe and he follows their progress closely. It's cool.

Hasn't come out of nowhere, really. He's been around the squad for 2 years now. van Gaal promoted him from the Amateurs during the winter of 09/10. He was the Austrian Player of the Year in 2011, although I'm sure no one follows that award.

He's also the youngest player to play for FC Bayern.

Everyone in Portugal knows Cristiano is the best player of all time (H)

I wont hide that i was kind of disappointed, dont know man... Its strange seeing Ronaldo with so low motivation on games like this, that penalty was like: "bah.. come on lets get over this.." I understand they're tired and ****, like Barcelona looked tired too, but... well. Neuer power i guess.

Germans don't lose penalty shootouts. It's a fact. Maybe Ronaldo already knew this and figured what the point was of even trying...

Ronaldo scored in Moscow before missing his penalty, but ManU went on to win it regardless. Maybe he thought the same would happen here.

Anyway, Messi and Ronaldo clearly suck now so the best player in the world from now on is David Luiz.

I mean, he scored 2 goals though. Without Ronaldo, Bayern wins 3-1 on Aggregate or even more.

There was something oddly comforting about this. I watched the game at my local English pub, and all the owners and bartenders were telling me stuff like "Don't worry, Germans never lose at penalties".

Back in my even poorer days I sold my plasma for usually $25 each time. I went after the Germany-Argentina shootout in the 2006 World Cup and got turned away because my blood pressure and heart rate was in the danger zone. This was after I waited an hour to try and settle down.

You'd better behave yourself this time!
You guys will lose against Chelsea.
Bastian will score first..

And then Mata in 90' and Torres at 90+2'

Yes, You heard it here first.

Meh. I'm pretty sure someone else can score that penalty, and even the other chance. His free kicks were ****, and he didn't seem to do much for the rest of the match.

Muller act for the first goal was really impressive, few players are that selfless. Great move, rep for Muller for sure :).
