damn right, Fili bro (H)

what a thunderous strike that was, me and my mates at he stadium were like, WHAT IN THE ROYAL **** WAS THAT ******* ****!?!? Fredy Guaríííííín, Fredy Guaríííííín, Fredy Fredy, Fredy Guaríííííín!!! and judging by his reaction after the ball went in, I reckon he did share our thoughts (H) His second goal was a beauty too...

also Moutinho was incredible as always, and James is starting to fulfill his tremendous potential. pretty sure this kid is gonna become a massive player!

out of this world (H)
tonight he's reached the 27 goal mark in what, 31, 32 games?
not to mention the assists...what a player he has become.

how 'bout tonight's team performance, dude?
that was beautiful to watch, especially in the first half, our football was simply magical.
we still need to improve on efficiency though, we could have easily scored 6 in this match.
btw the 3rd goal is pure poetry in motion...

within a week we'll host Benfica for the first leg of the Cup semis, I'll be there as usual and expect nothing but another convincing win!

"Oooooh lampiããããão...levaste 5, no Dragããããão!
Nunca mais te esqueces desta grande humilhação.
Porque este ano é o PORTO campeão!"

in case my phone supported a ringtone that would definitely be it (H)

Nem me fales.

But that being said, I really believe that with him and Pereira back, Porto will be kickin again. By the way, when do the come back?

Falcao should be back against Braga!
not sure about Alvaro, maybe against Sevilla...but only for the 2nd leg I guess.

Hulk is being wasted playing the lone striker role since he's a zillion times more useful in the wings...o Walter nem sequer convocado só pode ser por andar no putedo, não vejo outra explicação.

Filipower

Haha. Also, I really hoped he'd use Fucile on the left. Sereno might be reliable, but he strikes me as a Paulo Ferreira kind of reliable: does his job, but meh...

And 100% on the Hulk situation, completely wasted, hopefully when Falcao comes back we'll start seeing the Hulkster again (Y)

yeah Sereno doesn't **** up much in defense which is a good thing but not providing much attacking back-up for the left winger is a definite handicap for him and the team clearly suffers with it...Rafa's season-ending injury was a disgrace aswell, just when he was finally starting to show his worth...'****s sake! :nape:

atm I'm watching Iturbe (we can start getting used to calling him BiTurbo btw (H)) playing against Brazil with the U20s, this kid doesn't fool anyone: pure, raw, massive talent out there...future Porto star in the making :browsmiley:

edit
another awesome goal scored by Iturbe (H)

Big, BIG win tonight against Braga.
Every single player did its job in absolute perfection, this was the kind of performance we needed to clinch victory in this massive game.
Otamendí was MoM hands down though, it's not every day a CB scores a double to give us the 3 points! ...Falcao who? (H)

now on to Sevilla for another huge match...makes us proud, boys :)

Sevillista

Starting XI
Based on how our two teams have been playing, I expect you guys to crush us. However, we have a tendency to mature against good opponents, so who knows? I hope it's an entertaining two legs however it plays out.

Coruja

Senior Squad
Cant see Porto crushing Sevilla but get a win... yes. It would be good for Portugal and for Benfica if Porto can get to the next phase (more games, more busy)

This.

Sevillista we haven't been that great as of late, last night against Braga we actually had a flawless performance but the truth is there have been better spells for us this season...though we are still playing enough to remain unbeaten in the league and therefore keep the opposition away.

Considering the importance of this match, I hope and believe our players will put all their heart and skill on the field. Should be a good one!

You soundly beat the team that knocked us out of the Champions League, and you have been winning (maybe not convincingly) while we have been losing and tying the worst teams in La Liga.

I know comparing Portuguese and Spanish league wins and losses is not very indicative of the teams' abilities, but Porto are playing with a lot of confidence and we are in crisis. Like I said, Sevilla have a tendency to get their **** together for a big opponent, but I feel like we may not have enough confidence to pull it off this time.

business as usual (H)

2 wins to go, that means an epic title clicher at Luz is a possibility :bob:

Filipower

Meh, I really don't think so. I mean, it'd be great and all, but it's a long shot really, I don't see us getting a win over Benfica.

"great and all"...?
it'd be, I repeat, ******* EPIC!

either way it's not like I don't see us winning there, because I really do (twice, btw), but maybe a draw will suffice seeing that Paços away is gonna be a hell of a task for Benfica.

Obrigado, brother Ilaje!

this is a truly beautiful moment for every single one of us PORTO fans, to clinch the title at Benfica is an absolutely wonderful dream come true.
we will cherish this epic achievement forever!

Fili bro, how 'bout that? guess it's time I say I told you so (H)

now, hopefully further glory awaits...bring it on Spartak!
