You guys are getting way to excited with your pre-second half friendly games... you're setting yourself up for dissapointed and then later ... its just friendlies. (which were creating in the mindset of Steaua winning them)

but I hope you do well!

Winning 7 games in a row, friendly or not, is a good enough reason for the fans to get excited. The team is scoring 2 a game on average and the defense is still very tight. I'm very excited for the season to start up and even though catching CFR will be very hard I don't think it's impossible. To be honest I wouldn't be upset with 2nd place, just as long as we play in the CL again.

Rapid lost and Unirea drew! This gives us a great opportunity to jump into second place with a win tomorrow. It looks like Lacatus will be starting with this line-up:

Laca is more keen to start Plesan over Dayro as he's better defensively but even so I thought Plesan was playing very well before his injury and if he has any of that form left then I don't think we'll suffer too much. For the first time in a long time I really really like how our midfield looks and I think we're gonna cause Poli Iasi a lot of problems. The defense is rock solid as well, nothing beats the Goian-Ghionea partnership in Liga 1 and unless something stupid happens I don't see us conceding a goal tomorrow. One key thing is that Dica is sitting on a yellow so if he is booked tomorrow he won't play against CFR (which rolled 4-1 today over Craiova....). I'm really excited to see Mendoza and Pepe play and I'm equally excited for the returns of Plesan, Ghionea and Nicolita from injuries.

Not much has changed.... The gap between defense and attack still looks huge and it is clearly affecting our play. Nicolita is an absolute disaster, I hope Laca puts him on the bench for the second half. He had about 4 crosses that didn't even get past the first man and once he had Pepe wide open in the 6 yard box and over hit him . Other then running around like a headless chicken he has done nothing, well except put us in a disadvantage

Nicolita is just a disgrace, practically not a football player. all he can do is run, and he isn't even that fast.

Garbage... With every game that I see Steaua play the more and more I start to hate Goian. For every great clearance that he gets he has to do something clumsy and dumb. Ghionea played awful as well. We are not a good team man, I'm not giving up on this season yet but good lord when will this team start to look like a real football team again, how long has it f*cking been???

To be honest though, I'm not even that upset, I'm just numb. This nightmare of a season continues...

I don't know what's wrong with Goian really. a specific moment made me really think about it: something like a long pass from Poli Iasi towards our defence was coming to him, with no opposition player around and instead of making a first touch or anything he hit it as hard as he could in the sky, and he did stuff like this more than once. Ghionea just needs time, it's been like a year or so since he last played, and he got 90 full minutes tonight.

at least we've had chances, Branet made the match of his life as usual, Plesan starting over Dayro was a bad call, and Mendoza had a good game on the left, didn't really expect him to play that good out of position. I'm really used to the rest of the aspects...

f*cking great match, one of the best I've seen lately.

Dayro and Mendoza were brilliant, the same goes for Golanski, Emeghara and Ovidiu Petre too. Dica did pretty good this time, and Pepe Moreno was decent too, along with the others. hopefully this is enough motivation for us to push towards the top.

i was there...at match...in a time, the spectators call: "Romania", an hint at CFR Cluj, because Gigi Becali say that CFR are from Hungary...it was awesome...and the (i dont know how it say), the referee with the flag, (tushierul) at first make decisions almost all against Steaua, but the spectators swear him, and he turn his intention *(in the last 15 min he was with us)

he's been really good, being used as a left winger. gave a lot of assists and scored a goal in just a few matches.
