The bottom line is we're all biased in favor of our nation. Australians think we're trying to screw them, and we think Australians are trying to screw us. well in my opinion, it is time for one side to be big enough and stop this. you can't do this every time you play each other. if they don't take responsibility of their actions, fúck them and you be the bigger men. you can't force opinions. but by going on and on makes matters worse. thats why things are so bad now, things have escalted over the years because of refusal to step down on the issues. this stuff can happen, but when it does, it is better to leave it alone, condemn their actions and then leave it be.

I don't deny Australia is much better prepared than last time, but we've also improved since our slump in 2004.

I think we're both World Cup quality sides, it's a shame we have to play-off against each other again and have these types of arguments.

man i think this is the biggest build up to any of the world cup qualifiers. its really great how uruguay, an already established professional football nation, and australia (a country who this yr recognised the game as football and opened their own professional league, the a league) has attracted so much hunger, passion and determination from both sets of supports.
