Is the predicated growth thing in Fifa 07 accurate?

Mine only shows G Rossi going up to 74 or so??

Nasri and Sahin also are predicted to sit in mid 70's for their career?

whats the best way to boost how high their potential can go? I have G Rossi as a starting striker beside Del Piero in my 2nd season as Juve (back up in Serie A)

If looking at a player already on your team, then definitely. A player on a computer controlled team that signs to your team may well change at that point because the match XP system gives them a boost to their potential.

Do you have any user made 'patches' installed?? Those numbers don't match my calculations, which coincide with what I see for Sahin on my Wycombe team.

Within the game you have no control over their potential and the boost they get from the match XP system seems to be fixed (although I've never worked out what the controlling factors are). All you can control is their playing time and its 'quality', which may have an effect on their growth via the match XP system. Bear in mind, however, that there is a bug which makes a complete mess of the growth for all players on your team whenever you sign a new player to your team, whether that be a transfer, free agent, youth academy or scouted.

i scouted an asian DEF with Barc and he started at 55 and got to a 79 by the 5th year. I believe he is on his way to 82 within 1 year

I have CEP 7 - 4.0 installed and NK's World Evolution 3. I dont think these would change anything though?
