That depends on your style of play, and the other players around him. I generally value sprint speed more than the game's overall ratings do but being used to playing with strikers who have shooting attributes in the low 60s (or worse) I've also come to value the ability to hit the target more often than not.

Tom Goeke is a ST. He is a scouted player from Germany. Another one is Henning Drill,CDM,Switzerland but he is a scouted player. Search these two names in the DB with CM and you`ll find them.

there's a guy named goeke that's a 99 in the 12 season of my manager mode.. where he came from i have no idea and i didn't even notice him.. but i paid 92 mil to get him.. so find him early.

He starts out not far below that so probably won't be much cheaper in the first season. Just for a laugh I added him and Drill to my shortlist (whilst trying to convince myself that I would be able to resist the temptation to sign them) and in season 3 Goeke costs £35M just to sign to your team and Drill was somewhere around the mid-20s (which did at least mean that I didn't need to resist temptation, I couldn't afford to sign them!!)

How did you get them to come up in Scouting. Even with the best scout I couldn`t get them to turn up:

Gareth Bale (CB, Southampton) - but everyone knew about him already

Terry Dixon (ST, Tottenham Hotspur)

You will notice a preponderance of forwards in that list, and this seems to be the case in the youth systems too, with far more decent strikers available than any other positions.

I bought Lupoli in my B.Munich save, he and Podolski make one of the most leathal striking force ever. I also had Gareth Bale when I was at Liverpool before signing for Bayern. Got him for free, awsome player

How did you get them to come up in Scouting. Even with the best scout I couldn`t get them to turn up:

yeah i got the same problem, may be they come up in the game later like season 2-3.

For what, a hex editor?? Any decent one will do. I use AXE (aka Advhexed) but I believe that that program is no longer supported, and the website listed in the documentation is defunct, so you would probably be better off finding a current and actively developed one. Google is your friend

Palladino will reach 78 if left on a computer controlled team, but has a default potential of 89, so can be pushed considerably higher via the match XP system (especially bearing in mind the boost to potential that you get when you sign a player to your team). Strikers are generally easy to improve that way, but his finishing attribute is already at maximum, so he may not improve as quickly as some.

Quagliarella (sic) starts at his default peak - 64 - and has a default potential of 75, so could be pushed up via the match XP system (although he starts to decline in season 5).

Joao Moutino ups to 9?

Moutinho (sic) quickly reaches his default potential (86) but a good boost to that potential from the match XP system would be almost immediately beneficial (ie. he will pretty much top out at whatever his boosted potential turns out to be)
