hmm as for the cpu passing, you are surprice me here cause cpu makes lots of mistakes, maybe you should press more in midfield.

Well I can feel that AI won't do mistakes in passes but only the good positioning of my players gives me a chance to interscept some balls and that is a credit to you
I played now with my friend couple games and it was fantastic experiane. I always enjoy playing FIFA even standard one against my friends because there is no AI unreialistic behavior and using your patch make it even better after tweaking players and ball physiques.
It is always an argument about an arcade or football game. FIFA always has been an arcade game unfortunately. If we need a real football game then we need to go deep in strategies and tactics and that is not easy. We need the AI to think like human being not like super robot. I posted this comment long time ago after FIFA 09 in EA forums

in my games against Wolves AI do ping pong passes alot !!!!!

but I don't see the rest of it as an annoying thing..spend some time with the game until you get the right feel and you may enjoy it later:)

oh, and about the pressure..for me it's very very different depend on which team is your opponent. BPL teams generally, have a tight pressure. while serie A teams playing with patience build up, stacking their players at their own half and start pressing hard on final third of the pitch.

my impresions are only after 10 games in different difficulties, yes I need to practice more against various teams :)
but playing against friends is really more enjoyable than AI

I've been play just teo match and what could i say..great work guy.
1st match
Inter-lazio(CPU)
In the first time there was no game, I scored first with snejder on a counter attack with fine assist of king of Leons eto'o.
At 25' maicon scores the same gol that he really has score against juventus the last year,corner a defender clean the area stop and kick by maicon..unbelievable!!
And finally at 40' Rossi that I've just buy cross in area after a good dribbling and the king scores the 3-0.
In that moment I was going to write you that v2 was really too easy..but in the second half the unthinkable become thrue..floccari,zarate and bresciano score the 1-2-3 for lazio and like Liverpool-Milan the match goes to extra time where zarate scores the magic 3-4..i lose but great!!!!!
Here two stats:
BP inter 52% lazio 48%
shot inter 7(5) lazio7(4)
Tackle inter 3 lazio 10.

In the second match I lose 2-0 vs fiorentina it was a quite boring game but real soccer too.

If I should say something that could be better for my opinion, maybe the CPU when attacks on wings lost too much time before cross and made useless tricks but just a little and the other thing is that sometime the CPU made also useless pass near the goal where maybe is better the shooting way.
Anyway great job guy and I'll write you after other matches.

i uninstalled yours and installed regcat's..it was like i couldn't recognize fifa 11 anymore...but now i have installed yours back and the game seems beautiful again...:)

Well v2 is a hard work of months and im glad that even if it is on Beta stage, you guys are loving it.

Im sure Fidel & RC are doing some nice stuff too and its always great for the user too have 2-3 gameplay patches to choose. Its a matter of taste.

The difference in v2 is that is standalone, it can be combined but its best to be played as a single GP patch to play correct all the features and it doesnt really needs too be combined :)

hi erevos, i've played a lot of games lately,
using different teams with default tactics and line up, to test and fully experiencing v2 beta. the gameplay itself getting more and more enjoyable everytime i play even still, there's some annoying things though:)

Counter attacking
during those games,,i feel that the User AI (our team mate AI) is slow to react on counter attack condition.
Every time i get the chances to do a quick counter, the attacking midfilelders and second strikers (even strikers sometimes) are mostly left behind and seems they not even try to keep up with the pace i'm trying to build while i'm sprinting to penalty area or flanks waiting for support..alone.

and by the time they able to reach enemy territory, CPU AI are already filling their own half, marking every single players. so i'm pulling down, and start the attack with more patience again..and again..and again.

the points is, i think that team mate AI is too slow to react to player movements, while CPU have a perfect transitions between attacking and defending, and they did it fast.

I have no problem with the way CPU defending or marking, it just great you know, quite realistic, i love it indeed.
but the CPU's fast transition is just like CPU AI is cheating in every game:)
I can't found the same problem earlier from other testers, so i'm gonna play some other matches to make sure this issue really exist (not from my fault i mean). Can't wait for the final version:33vff3o:

cpu AI is playing and moving so fast and annoying.
I played another 5 matches
MANUTD vs Byren M 2-0 legendary
MANUTD vs OM 2-0 legendary
MANUTD vs R Madrid 2-3 legendary
MANUTD vs R Madrid 1-1 legendary
MANUTD vs R Madrid 0-3 legendary
MANUTD vs R Madrid 2-1 world class

my notes
1- legendary mode makes AI players overrated
2- it is hard to pass deffence especially with big teams (rooney couldnt pass any deffender in all 3 legendary matches against Real Madrid, but when played in world class he can pass deffender 3 of 4 chances)
3- the AI tactic is so annoying. this is EA problem I think but Ervos patch made is exagerated. the AI tactis is only to win the ball by high pressure all of the time (so Rooney could not beat any deffender) then if AI win the ball they only atack and attack. this is not real.
4- playing against worl class difficulty is much realistic because the AI players are not overrated by legendary diff. but still AI pressing to win all balls in the world.

Match discribtion MANUYD X R Madrid world class

first half
Rooney can beat deffenders. AI was making alot of fouls especially in the final third to prevent Rooney from being 1 on 1 with GK and thats end with red card to RM.
although RM 1 man down, they succeded to score first goal.

second half
I succeded to score 1-1. and AI still making fouls to win the ball and another red card.
after that RM keeps attaking but I scored again and ends 2-1

yes I won in world class diff. but it was not easy win even when RM is down to 9 men. the foolish tactics of AI made them do fouls, if that could be controoled, I think world class is better to play this patch.

im working in all attributes some will have generall global values, the majority will have individuality for every player (8000-9000 players)

i havent really see that problem, but i will check it, i like to check all those tactic details its importand for v2.

keep in mind everyone that v2 = individuallity in Teams/Players, so if my style of playing is shot passes and i will choose a team with a target man i have to adjust my style, and they are hundreds of examples like this one, purpose is to feel each game different.

and yes i recomend default tactics-formations since v2 is a total package.

Generally speaking the thing about CPU defending or attacking and how each other seeing it is very simple, if the A' guy plays full manual, the B' semi, and the C' assisted, each of them will find good what the other will find bad.

im creating v2 on legendary/slow/assisted (semi in shoot/cross with keyboard/10 min. half.
