thanks for advise,i know how to edit the people,but if u look at this screen shot u will see the blue itunit boots,and u cant select them in edit in fifa 11,i love the green mercury nikes aswell,and hate the maroon and grey,but maroon and grey is all u able to select.

Not just in Fifa, but in all games. No such thing as a perfect game - even Fifa 10 'NG', with its 50 awards - picked up plenty of complaints.

Awards in what? and where ? lol never heard a patch get an award, is this some oscar **** now?

Most of the time i play online games, so must play Fifa with the original versions, and the difference is huge between two games, graphics (fifa10 graphics are the worst on years, specially the turf), players movement (360º and total control on fifa11 against "palancazos" and delay on response on fifa10), dribbles and skills way better and complete, makes fifa11 a whole new game, comparing both games, we're not playing football in fifa10, we'd played foosball.

Of course, modding the game, graphics, stadiums, leagues, ai, and so, makes the difference between two games not so huge, but i prefer 100 times the fifa11 unmodded over a fifa10 fully modded.

I know its just a google image,but that EXACT screen shot is on the cover of the box when u buy the fifa 11 pc game.so if its on the cover,why is in=t not ingame????

I love FIFA 10 on PC. I just had a great match last night. it took me a year to get good ai.ini and FIFA 10 on PC gives me exactly what i need. I prefer PS2 to "next-gen" graphics anyway. The control feels very sluggish on FIFA 11. I love how tight the control is in FIFA 10 PC. FIFA 10 PC also works very well with the nvidia control panel and with the latest version of direct X.

I agree that the default engine of FIFA 10 was bad, but it was an evolution process starting from FIFA 06, and so modding tools were all the similar since 06 version. As days went, new things were "discovered" for modding different stuffs in FIFA 06-10. So it was possible to scale a bad game like FIFA 10 to something playable and enjoyable. If I am not wrong, the maximum number of mods that were released for any FIFA installment was during FIFA 10 (coz of maturity of editing tools and knowledge of the modders). Even I, as a non-modder, knew pretty much many things about the files of FIFA 10 and their nitty-grittys.

You're so right! The game out of the box was bad, but I have fixed nearly every annoying problem with FIFA 10 PC and now it's just a pleasure to play. The next-gen fifa games are okay but they aren't built from the ground up like FIFA 10 PC and games before that. Even though the games weren't that great out of the box, you could customize anything and actually make the game amazing. (look at how much better guys like regularcat and tanagoo have made the game better for everyone)

Since FIFA 10 PC is probably the last version of the PS2 engine, it's the game that we all should rally behind. We should thank EA and continue to support EA if and only if EA either make quality games with the level of customization of the past. I would have preferred that EA kept improving their old engine with ai.ini. But i'm fine with it because FIFA 10 PC really has everything you need to have a great game. I think also the refresh rate, frame rate, and speed customization of FIFA 10 PC's ai.ini and common.ini also makes long gaming sessions easier on the eyes. Last night I played 45 minute halves with enbseries.ini on, and took a 10 minute break at the half and it wasn't boring or a strain at all. It was almost like a hand-eye exercise. FIFA 11 PC doesn't seem good for long gaming sessions. In FIFA 10 PC, you can adjust so many parameters and the speed that things run that you can create different scenarios that you don't see in games but you see on TV when you watch real games. It's a whole different mindset. We have given EA a lot of money over the years. EA needs to make more games like EA MMA, that actually attempt to mirror a the real sport. FIFA 10 PC with the correct modifications mirror a real match more than FIFA 11 PC or console.

Now the situation is different. We really do not know whether we can edit the gameplay AI, whether we can edit the teams, players, tournaments, seasons etc, what is the limit of the number of leagues/teams/players in the game, whether we can add commentaries and chants, whether the annoying errors can really be fixed (like many Manager mode blunders, scoreboard fixes, weather effects etc). We do not even know if any editing of some part will hamper other parts of the game (i.e. leading to a new "bug").

Very good points. You're making a lot of sense arkapd. Where have you been all my life!??! have you modded FIFA 10 PC?

To gain the maturity level of modding that was reached in the previous generation of FIFA series will require some time, and that may even cross 1 year (i.e. the next installment of FIFA may come up).

Could even cross 2 or 3 years. Will they ever have ai.ini again?

the one thing i hate about fifa 11 pc is the turf lighting. it's beyond horrrible...lighting was so easily edited in fifa 10 with lighting parameters held in simple text files (new pitch grass lighting xxx.txt)..i don't know about fifa 11 pc but if we can't edit the lighting...no matter what mods we come out with..it'll always remain a half decent game..

i have a queston fr the players who have played the 10 console version..how was the turf lighting in that game..i'm guessing it was better than what we have for Fifa 11 PC..

Yeah the lighting in overcast and night is HORRIBLE. It's like the stadiums don't even have floodlights

having spent hours playing both games, think pes is better, thats not saying fifa is bad, just that I look at it from an AI point of view, and think in a lot of ways pes AI is better than fifa. have a look at this very short video, AI goal spain v lithuania admittedly not a great keeper, but never seen the AI in fifa take a shot from that far out let alone score.

It's your opinion and I respect you. I like PES11 too but, FIFA11 is more real the gameplay.
What this camera config you use? You configure it with the Camera Settings tool?

well as I said, not saying Fifa is a bad game, Fifa does somethings better, just that I don`t like games where the AI can`t or won`t do what I can seems an unfair advantage to me.
the camera setting not sure, messed around so much with different things, think it`s just one of the replay camera angles.
one thing I do know, until CM 11 arrives Pes it much easier to edit.

really? are the leagues deeper on fifa10? i like taking a club through europe in Fifa10 on PC.
