Ha-ha! EA improves it slightly every year, just enough to get you wondering if you should buy it. It's definitely better than 15, but apart from the improved visuals it's the same poorly coded CPU gameplay. I would say it's worth it for online, probably not worth it if you play vs CPU.MKDAWUSS;3855770 said:Does FIFA 16 look like a worthwhile buy, or should I wait until FIFA 17?

So download the demo and decide for yourself, always the best advice anyway.MKDAWUSS;3855775 said:I mod the heck out of it, and as such usually don't play online.
That's nothing new. The Demo plays better than the final product every year. Couldn't tell you why EA do it..DrDoooMuk;3858285 said:So, I just downloaded the "Pre-Load" of Fifa16 ( I'm in UK ) and the game doesn't unlock till 24th for us, So I used "Softether VPN" which is a free open source VPN from a University in Japan, chose a South Korean VPN, logged into Origin, Clicked "Reload Games" and lo and behold FIFA 16 full game is now unlocked and I can play no problem.
First game is Tottenham v Aston Villa at White Hart Lane in the fog ! which looked awesome, but why the F@@@ is the game speed miles faster than the demo? Even on slow, which I always use and used for the demo.
I thought the pacing of the demo was PERFECT on slow, but the full game seems miles faster. I'm playing v CPU on World Class, which doesn't feel anywhere near as "Cheaty" as last year, which is good......but the Speed ! Is it just me or anyone else notice this?
I was thinking about buying from G2A but i heard it can result in Origin banning your account, as well as issues when trying to activate keys and so on. I'll read a little into Brazil's since it's the cheapest option. Thanks for the feedback.DrDoooMuk;3858304 said:I bought Fifa 16 Pre-order from G2A about a week ago which cost me £25.80. They sent me my key this afternoon and it worked with no problem.
I have bought Far Cry 4 from Indian Origin as a pre-order and it cost me £18. Now, Origin had no problem activating the key, but UPLAY told me it was region locked, so I had to use another Indian VPN to activate it on UPLAY. Once it was activated the one time, i DIDN'T need a VPN to play it through my UK UPLAY account.
I also bought Fifa 14 from NUUVEM in Brazil and that cost me £20 and worked without a problem, but as far as I'm aware, NUUVEM have cracked down on this.
Geo-Region buying keys is a grey area at best and MAY go against the Terms and Conditions of whoever the publisher is. You can NEVER guarantee that buying a cheap key or Digital Download is going to work correctly or not be blocked, so be warned !
The problem is, especially in the UK, we get completely shafted on prices for software compared to the US and other regions ( although I think it's a lot worse for people in New Zealand and Australia ).
I have 2 accounts on my PS4, one UK and one US. I bought Bloodborne Digital from US store for $59.99 which at the current exchange rate is about £39.........which makes me wonder why the UK Playstation store sells it for £54.99.........which is equal to $84.50.
Until games companies manage to get some sort of Universally fair pricing model, I will continue to get keys and digital downloads from wherever i can manage to get it cheapest. If that means that one day I buy a key and I'm unable to get it to register, then so be it, I would have saved money in the long run, but this is a debate for another thread I think.

Correct... about 5% of the people who play sports games, the rest want fast fast fast GOOOOOOALSSSSSSS! Ever watched two teenagers play EA's NHL game? Like watching two coke heads.DrDoooMuk;3858464 said:The majority of true football fans would like to play a simulation...... Which is slower.
