FIFA 2003 Demo: Problems, Bugs and Questions

Iggy Said that all we have NVidia Riva Tnt with vanta vendor we cant play fifa 2003 and other games.
But i can´t understand this because i played a lot of games and fifa 2003 is the only with problems!
If someone have certain information please answer me!
And one last question Will i be able to play the full version?

In the demo what used to be the sprint button is now an extra pass button. Is this intentional? I have a brand new PC with Radeon 8500LE graphics and an AMD Athlon Processor. My copy of FIFA 2001 also has this problem on my new PC.

DEMO WORKS BUT PLAYERS AND BALL ARE OF DIFFERENT COLOURS, HOW DO I FIX THIS ??

Well, this is only a demo, few bugs could be understood. I guess

read the f u c k i n ' readme and get to know the controls...
unless you play fifa 99 or before that you will need to get use to the one touch pass and through pass... Sprint button is E.. but now you must hold it instead of ramming it..

HUGE PROBLEM HERE

U know when you have a PC that only supports a resolution of 800x600 and when you try using a 1200x768 one, you get a all weird screen?

Well, that is EXACTLY what's happening with me, only with the difference that my PC is setup to 800x600 and so is Fifa2003.

My 3D card is a NVidia GeForce II, 1,6GHz 128Mb RAM and YES, I have updated my card drivers already, didn't work out

IM DESPERATE!!!!

Obs.: I also have DirectX 8.1 too

I should have added that I have a Gravis Gamepad Pro. BTW HiHI, there's no need for the nasty attitude or foul language. I am fully aware of what button does what and this is how I noticed the malfunction since I use sprint very often to get away from markers or to stop opposition players getting away from me. I have also posted in the Older FIFA Titles forum about this since my copy of FIFA 2001 has the same problem. Strangely though FIFA 2002 is still working perfectly.

Hey all

I have read everyone's posts and there's only one post here which vaguely describes what problems I'm encountering.

The game boots fine, and I have no problems - the game runs at over 60fps, until I pause the game. When I unpause, the framerate drops considerably, and becomes barely playable - 15 fps.

I have the latest version of my drivers, the Nvidia 40.72's and I have direct x 8.1. I have also tried reinstalling both the demo and direct x, none of which worked. I also futilely tried to revert to some of the older drivers. In regard of the other drivers of my system, they are all completely up to date (that includes the via 4 in 1's and the audigy drivers)

Here's a rundown of my machine specs:

Geforce 4 ti4200
AMD Athlon XP 1800
ASUS A7V133 motherboard
256mb or RAM
Sound Blaster Audigy Digital Entertainment 5.1

Hopefully if anyone has a solution to this choppy framerate problem, you can post it. Thanks.

My video card is VOODOO 3 which is not supported by FIFA 2003 DEMO,
What video driver do i need to download in order to run the game?

and when i asked EA about my probs this is what they said...

"Unfortunately, I am not certain that your CPU is fast enough to run this demo. The other drivers and perhipherals for your system are nicely up to date, but we have not yet assigned this software a minimum operating speed for a processor -- you may be below what is required to run this game."

And what would you say about this, EA: my CPU is a PII 233 +320 MB RAM + GeF2 MX 400, and the demo runs fine on high detail!

Graphics cards

Can someone explain why EA Sports would want to limit the number of cards the game/demo supports? Its so dissapointing to read that just maybe FIFA 2003 would be a big improvement, and then find the demo doesn't "work". By the way the only other game I have had problems with is Cricket 2002

little men will appear and the last one is black and that one starts
the demo. But will i get in the game i get players with:
Rainbow colors
No numbers and names on the back
and no commentary.

for heaven's sake of course there's no commentary it's just a demo... All demos of previous fifa versions do not commentary...

Change your video card, it might help, your video card is not even in the readme..

Yes. It is very simple. Only powerful and DirectX 8.1 compatible cards are supported. For me it is no surprise that old Voodoo Banshee or ATI Rage cards are not supported. They are simply too old for this brand new game.

I know that many people have this problem, but there was a person here that said that he downloaded some voodoo3 drivers, so please, if you have new drivers for voodoo 3 please post the exact location from where we can download them, because I really want to play the demo

oh, just want to say, please spare me of some stupid remarks like : buy a new graphics card
