If your a FIFA fan and played FIFA 2004 alot this game is so much better. If your a WE fan you might not like it, but for us that like FIFA its gonna be tha bomb...

demo sucks

gameplay good but gfx o my ******* god I got glitches everywhere in my screen that makes it almost impossible to pass to a teammate without losing the ball I hope EA fixes this FAST! :kader:

They are not going to fix it. REMEMBER IT IS JUST A DEMO not real game

hey people can anyone help me with this I had the demo and I think it's great but I have a problem with my gamepad I cant remap it so it's all go wrong when I press the pss I get a shoot and so on
if any please help me about this
I will be very glad

yeah, you shouldnt worry about the low graphics. first, is a demo, and second, it has the lower detail and resolution as default.

lets work on changing it to bigger resolution and higher detaila nd then we'll see :)

maybe its your computer because it was running smooth for me, and the graphics looked good to me.... I think the crowd looks a million times better than FIFA 2004

yep. noticed that about the crowds too. very nice improvement (Y)

and the game runs smooth for me too but as I said, the resolution is bad and the details low so after changeing that the game will probably get slower (:/)

Finally EA!
I have just played five games on the Fifa 2005 demo...and finally they have managed to do a great football game!

The new hyped first touch system/dribble actually lives up to the hype! I am flabbergasted! That feature alone makes all the difference in the world. Playing with Ljungberg or Henry now...is like playing with Ljungberg and Henry.

And also I love the new animations! For instance...when a player isn´t close enough to reach the ball he tries to dive for it. Great!

It seems to run smoother too...in fact it ran as (half) badly as last year´s edition...then I realized I had kazaa running in the background. :-)

It´s too early to come with points of criticism...but it seems perhaps the AI is a bit too cautios. I want it to be more assertive and down right foul players that are constantly breaking their wing defense.

But...like I said. Great game! It even outclasses the 98 edition...trust me!

From a PES/WE fans point of view, the game is way better than last year. FIFA 2004 was horrible from the demo to the present day in many, many ways. This version runs smoother and the animation (not in the cut-scenes, in the playable part of the game) has improved a lot. I still hate the ability for every player to be able to kick the ball 70 yards down the field when facing the wrong direction without swinging their foot. The nets are still made of cast iron and despite what one of the posters said above, I don't think that other than with speed, you can feel much difference in using one player over another. In the second game I played I kept an eye on how closely players kept control and there was no difference from one player to another that I could see in dribbling, control, etc. Some players are faster than others and some are taller than others. Otherwise it just feels like a generic player. The goalkeepers don't seem any smarter and make hard shots look easier to save than the easy ones! I would also say there are too many cut-scenes and you get a bit bored of pressing through the scenes to get back playing. Camera angles are very good, probably the best selection there has been. Crowd animation by far the best yet - impressed with that.

Still not enough to make Konami look over their shoulder in terms of gameplay but a definite improvement over the past few years. If EA can build on this and not screw it up I would actually have high hopes for next years version. A good attempt without a doubt. I think you'll get less flaming this year guys, the game's actually quite decent.

Considering that I usually...loathe EA I am surprised that I am the only one that seems pleasantly surprised about this game?

Or perhaps...it´s like it usually is...the first 20 games feel great than I shelve it due to boredom. :(

But...really...it feels like this could be the one!
