I must say, judging by the demo, this version is much improved. Better physics, and a bit more realistic. There are many different ways to use the ball now, as opposed to 2004 where you were rather limited. The first touch thing is a good addition, and if I'm not mistaken, the worthless off the ball control is gone.
I have noticed one thing that is not quite right, the back of Arsenal's kit where the name is should be white, but it's red. I'm guessing that's because they didn't get the Nike license, so they had to make the kit a bit different so they wouldn't be sued. Ok, so I noticed another thing just now...they've mowed the grass wrong at Highbury. When viewed from the side, it's diagonal ralther than vertical, as it should be.
Oh, and sometimes, some of the players look like they have Mr. T style hair cuts, not sure why, but if you go into the replay and zoom in and out, it does odd things. When zoomed out, some of the players are generic, but when you zoom in, they are detailed with their real faces, etc.
Anyway...this is definitely an improvement on FIFA 2004 and Euro 2004. I will be anxious to see if it's just as good for the XBox. I'm going to buy Winning Eleven this year to see what the fuss is about, so it will be interesting to compare and contrast the two.
