I believe many ppl here miss the point I am driving at. Both Fifa and PES have their pros and cons.

what kind of flaw is that if you play with 1 star the game is too easy?? that's why we have 6 stars!!!... its such an stupid argument saying you can beat the computer in 1 star and that is why the game has a flaw

Ppl here say PES is a realistic game. I say it is not at lower difficulties. When did I say it is a flaw? To be realistic, the scoreline for the lower to higher difficulty should not differ much.

Come on. don't force your views on to others. It is only a matter of opinion and this is a free world. What do one get if more ppl buy PES. You won't be richer: the developer would.

When people say PES is a realistic game, they're basing it on the overall impression and certainly not looking at the 1-star difficulty alone. Actually it makes perfect sense that one would win with a much higher score on Level 1 rather than on Level 5 - how can it be realistic if the scores didnt differ much?

I thought levels were created to make the game easier to the people who arent too good at playing the game. And since you're indicating that you and your daughter has been played football games (fifa & pes) quite a lot compared to the newbie (who is the marketing-target with 1-star diff.) - it makes sense that you'll win big - most wouldnt :) How is your daughter doing on 4 or 5-star level?

I agree with you fully on your first point on overall impression.

My daughter is only a child and she is a newbie in football games.
She can't reach the two star difficulty for a long time. In fifa, at the amatuer level, she can't record that sort of scoreline.

Football is never a high scoring game. Let's be honest. How many times do we see a team beat another by 18-0?

The difficulty level in PES is too skewed. It is too easy on one star, and too difficult on 5 star. What I am trying to say all this while is, they should look into this and even out the the difficulty levels.

Anyway, these are not my concerns. In my humble opinion, scorelines in a realistic football game should reflect real life scorelines on all levels of difficulty. Period.

Youre really nitpicking here. Difficulty is very subjective. I along with many others dont think 5 stars is too hard, in fact when i played pes3 sometimes i wished it was harder. Also, 1 star might be easy for you, but what about someone who is very stupid/young/retarded and has never played a football game before? They might think its too hard, just like you think 5 stars is too hard.
How can the scorelines possibly be similar on different levels? If that was the case they wouldnt be different would they, unless konami made it easy to make chances but artificially made all the keepers super good in the lower levels? This doesnt make sense to me.
And i find it strange how you comment on the scorelines but not on the fact that the ai does nothing at all when you have the ball on 1 star, which NEVER happens in real life but huge scorelines sometimes do.
edit: oh and the game is not actually supposed to be realistic, difficulty wise, on all levels (isnt that obvious, how can there be more than 1 realistic difficulty?). The lower levels are simply there for people who arent good enough for the realistic level. If you win all your games 18-0, play on a harder level. If you lose 18-0, play on an easier level.

I relate scorelines to the AI of the game. If you have read my earlier post, you would have noted that I said the AI allows you to walk into goal on one star.

You are right in your last paragraph. Video games are not supposed to be realistic. That is the point I am driving at. Most ardent fans of both camps tend to claim that the game they supported is reflective of the beautiful game. To me, they are just video games and trust me will never simulate the real thing. PES comes close to it. It is a very deep game in terms of strategy and tactics. It is meant for hardcore gamers who have all the time in this world to play. Fifa is meant for casual gamers. It is easy to pick up and play.

We have ppl here who love to put down one game to make the one they love look good. I have been called retard, stupid and whatever expletives they can use just because I make negative comments on their favourite game. To me, that is absurd. I rest my case. Sayonara.

Sorry, but thats why theres 2*, 3* and 4* levels - to even out the obvious difference in AI and difficulty between the level 1 and level 5. It makes perfect sense that level 1 would be too easy to most people - and level 5 would be very difficult to most. If your daughter can win 18-0 on level 1 - take her up to level 2. It cant be much harder than that, can it? :)

Soccerfan, i agree with you concerning the more realistic scorelines. But really...dont say you've never experienced unrealistic high scorelines in the Fifa games. In fact im pretty sure that those scorelines happen much more often in general Fifa games than in PES games.

I have just got to laugh at all these PES fans. And i'm betting they are all under the age of 16, cos any mature person wouldn't give a sh1t if someone likes fifa or not. GROW UP for f*** sake.

I like Fifa, it's a great game, very enjoyable. and before you start slating me, i like PES too. So what you gonna say about that.

I can't believe all the PES fans are scoring the same way every single time. Try "DOING" something different in fifa, then you'll no doubt score a different way. True if you do the same move on the same difficulty setting all the time, you're gonna end up mastering a single type of goal.

Personally i try not to score the same goal more than once in a game. The best thing i like about football games is the build up to a goal, thats what i get excited about. The finish is just the end result.

I just wish the PES fans could just chill out, and just look forward to their "OWN" game (i say "OWN" cos they defend it like their own baby)

Anyways, i think Fifa's cool, am playing it alot, great game.

P.S. Looking forward to PES4 too, lol
