Fantastic job on adding all those new teams, I'm really looking forward to be able to play version 0.11 and the UEFA and CL with preleminary rounds, also the full Italian Coppa and so many new South American teams :)

I hope you were able to squash the freezing bug or that you were able to learn more about what (was?) causing it.

Thanks for making our Fifa a completer game!

Although I don't have any info on the background or foreground of the FIFAMania story, I really don't want to see two of the most respected editors for FIFA argue. So, let's all hope that OckHAM and Billy will get along and keep on providing us with the great patches they make!

Congrats on OckHAM for his really monsterous efforts on the CEP. You have proven what good will and lots of hard work can make for the FIFA community.

I've been in contact with EA authors to understand the freezing problems, and now I'm in phase testing just about this problem. I will give news about this at the moment of CEP release to be sure that the results are the ones I suppose to obtain this time ;)

About the project line I wrote in the author's note: I think that if we can understand the potential of a project like CEP we will have soon a single add-on containing the work of the best editors of Fifa community: imagine a single easy-to-install add-on containing the best soundpacks, completely new 2gk kits for all existing Fifa teams, hundreds of faces, new teams, new competitions etc. I'm sure this is the great way that the Fifa community can follow thanks to the great customizability of EA's game.


PS. Just as a quick note I have to admit that I completely agree with Billy about his anti-juventino behavior :D :D

Hey OckHAM! I'm looking forward to the release later on today. I was wondering if you solved the career problem with the 2 Colombian teams (America de Cali and Atl Bucaramanga). I'll mess with the patch this weekend and see how it plays. Also, I heard from Donovanfan through another thread (Concacaf: http://www.soccergaming.tv/showthread.php?t=126505&page=5 ). Hopefully, we can get the concacaf portion of the world in the next edition (ver. 0.12). Take care and thanks for the hard work and dedication!

Well I have no experience with the freezing bug atm as I didn't start a serious career game yet, I really change stuff in my database too much to keep the saved games intact but I wondered if what was causing the problem was found. I really hope it is gone as the only complaints I read about CEP was about that.

And just to make it clear I have no arguement whatsoever with Ockham, I just gave my opinion on his authors note and I find it a pity and a loss that the biggest site from his own country doesn't contribute to the CEP (I'm not accusing anyone and who is wrong in this matter, just pointing out that it's a regretable fact) but I have no hard feelings against Ockham or Fifamania, and I think they have none against me either.

In fact I hope they would all make peace and that their material (referees, italian adboards, flags,...) will be added anyway in a future version, that would be so great.

In the meantime I'm really looking forward to the release of 0.11!

Just my humble opinion, not meant to be offensive:
I don't think it suits you to start insignuating and throwing "dirt" on other respected communities.
"Jealousy" is an acquisition that seems based on a subjective opinion, not an objective one. Apart from that I think that everyone has a free choice to participate or not, whatever the reasons may be.
Putting a black name on a community just because they didn't want to get involved sounds to me like frustration from the writers point of view, as otherwise I don't understand why you had to include that note.
The patch you've created and are still improving is a great piece of work, you don't need to point a finger to others. Great footballplayers like a Totti or Kaka don't need to prove they're good and shouldn't commend negatively about other players, the same goes for other professions.
IAW: I think you should go on with the great work your doing without getting involved in "side-effects" that really shouldn't matter, as this is what truly matters.

In this moment I finished a special testing that I needed. Results for freezing problem are excellent and no problems encountered except a little one: being so much more datas in career modo the CPU need some seconds (20/30) at the end of season to re-elaborate datas: I know a lot of people will write about blocks and freezes again but it's absolutely another thing than the problem encountered with the transfers.

I'm packing now the file and I'll update on file front. Download should be availabe in about an hour.

0.11 Release is delayed to tomorrow (04/02) morning due to translation completion and exe-installer realization. I need a portuguese and a polish language db extracted in mdb format because I receive a runtime error when I try to convert these two language files.

The CEP 0.11 is ready since tonight late, but Filefront services seem out of service for managing the files; I'm contactin Sweetpatch to know what to do. Probably we'll have to wait untile filefront services are back.

i know how to convert the language with tihs error...i've done the converted ita.db and if ockham want i convert polish and portuguese....

The the original version of por,pol etc.db fixed also will be avalaible soon on my website... www.fifaccitiu.tk
