FIFA "GAMEPLAY UPDATE" 06 - Next release.

I have already started on my next update! It will focus on ball physics and playability. The latest details I have is that the game difficulty is being tweaked. Expect the challenging play of world class to be at that level when you play on Professional difficulty and game modes like Legendary will be very very difficult to score and beat the computer.

I hope to make your FIFA 06 game, fun and exciting. I might release a video of a match between England (me) VS. Brazil (CPU) to allow you lotta' maniacs to see what I'm coming up with.

Tried your current update. I really like the ball physics and the way CPU defends. Your patch makes fifa 2006 suddenly realistic. It was a good game, but with your gameplay it's becoming another game, at least as realistic as PES 5. Thank u very much Nick.

Hey, I love your first patch and as a suggestion for the next one I would love to see the goalkeepers kicking the ball a lot futher, easily into their teams attacking half.

Also, is there some way to make it easier to score with midfielders.

why not send a video of cpu v cpu. thts the only way we can be sure it works well. forgive me being skeptical but ea always showed us two player videos just to decieve

You got it! I'll make one and send it. It'll be a full match between England VS Brazil on World Class difficulty, 12 minute game, normal game speed.

I'll let you know now that the ball physics are more like PES5, so the ball isn't heavier than the update released, the physics are 'better', but the way the ball moves is still realistic. It isn't a fast game.

Thank you gamerguy350, I will continue my hard work!! The new update is playing very well, I personally prefer it already to the released update and I've only worked on it a couple of days, if that!!

I'm gonna push it as far as it can go...this is going to be interesting :-D

Yo Nick, I have to ask you if I can release on CEP homesite your gameplay with career.ini settings modified to be compatible with CEP: without doubts your gameplay is the definitive one so I'd like to let all the CEP users to use your game dynamics and settings: the only modifications I did are inside the career.ini settings and of course it will be shown as "NK Gameplay". Let me know if I have your authorization because I'm really enjoyng the advancements to fifa gameplay derived from your settings together with CEP achievements.

This patch is... just the definitive gameplay patch. A must download for anyone that has bought FIFA 06. After playing just a few games, it makes FIFA worth playing again.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear so much positive feedback, the next update is already playing much better.

Just a quick update for you guys, I have made the CPU more possesive of the ball and it's harder to direct shots at goal now and keep them down.

Maybe I'm getting too old for this **** but I find your gameplay way too hard, unless I get to the edge and get an epilepsy crisis of pushing the gamepad buttons too quick :/

That's the first complaint I've had of the update being too difficult! I'm working on the new one to actually become more challenging!

Perhaps lower the difficulty mode and try playing on that until you get comfortable with the more challenging play.

Well it was amusing earlier as I encountered a bug, where the game would crash everytime you took a freekick. I found out the problem and actually, not only found a way round it, but it's better than before. It was to do with the ball physics of the game.

Update note: Goal keeper drop kicks go much further now.

This happens with the version that's up for download or has it been fixed? And does it happen EVERY time you take a FK or is it a problem that hardly happens, making it still worth downloading?

hmmm strange, I tested the physics for my released version in the one I'm currently making and it didn't crash at all, never! I was in practice mode too so I took a good few of them! Well, I will be sure to test out my new one even more.
