Fifa Has better Graphics than PES5

The screenshot looks exactly like every other PES3/PES4/PES5 screenshot. The pitch is awful, crowd is ugly, stadium is low-textured and player models and the faces are the same as always. I'm not bashing the game, it's just hard for me to understand how none of you fanboys can accept the fact that there still are some things about it that can be seriously improved. And FIFA does look better, it has amazing pitch textures, detailed stadiums, better looking crowd etc. The player models in PES are somewhat more flexible though but that doesn't really save the day, as everything else is so low-detailed.
The screenshot looks exactly like every other PES3/PES4/PES5 screenshot. The pitch is awful, crowd is ugly, stadium is low-textured and player models and the faces are the same as always. I'm not bashing the game, it's just hard for me to understand how none of you fanboys can accept the fact that there still are some things about it that can be seriously improved. Yeah, that's because those who dare not to agree with statements like 'PES is perfect and better than FIFA in every single aspect, period' are FIFA fanboys and should be shot.
Seriously now, looking at this screenshot, explain me where are the freakin improvements from PES4 that are worth making a thread about?
It's kind of sad really, seeing how Konami could use the fm2005 2D match engine for PES6 and you guys would still post screenshots and start threads like this one.
Oh and BTW, I preferred PES4 to FIFA 2005, because of its gameplay, but I'm really not that blind to think it's better looking than even FIFA 2002. And I have played both of these titles for a reasonably long time, I even somehow managed to year 2009 in this poor excuse for a career mode they call the Master League so I'm quite aware what I'm talking about here. I'm just saying it's dumb how they improve things that don't need much improvement instead of things that obviously lack, well, everything. Having said that I will resign from this thread and wait for a similar one about the sounds and commentary

Maybe it's just the PC version, but the awful, stupid "shiny player" thing FIFA does during night games (and has done for a few years now) turns me off from jump street.
I've played both demos now, and I struggle with how folks continue to claim that overall, there's a marked difference in graphical quality; there really isn't.
The difference remains where it's always been; gameplay. The differences are becoming more subtle, less sweeping, and that's a good thing.
Of course, that's the case b/c FIFA has become more like (while not quite) PES; but that's neither here nor there; PES has become more like FIFA in terms of licensing kit.
A push, each on the other, to firm up aspects of the repsective games that were (are) weak is great for us.
EDIT: the BEST thing that ever happened to the FIFA franchise is NOT this year's graphics/shiny heads, but the replacement of Danny Issac as head producer of the FIFA series; his vision of what soccer gaming could be, in a word, sucked.

Yea the crowds really do suck its well both games, the ball looks amazing in FIFA, but on the other had in that screenshot posted in the first post as an example the ball in PES/WE well just looks horrible and really cheesy, not all that realistic looking if you ask me.

FIFA does have that shiny affect going on in which IMO in screenshots most of the time looks kinda bad but there are a few times when its looks acceptable/tolerable. But during the most important part which is what you see in the actual it doesnt look all that bad and after watching the video's from FIFA 2006 the player models are looking very promising.

FIFA has always had the upper hand there. It's not just about player models or pitch textures, it's all of those combined and if you look at the games on your screen, I mean just look, not play, you'll probably notice the difference, as fifa, despite its nuclear glow, somewhat resembles to the real thing while PES looks like people running around in poorly animated 3D environment.
As I said before, I'm not trying to bash either of these titles, I play them both and will surely buy both FIFA 2006 and PES5 and enjoy them both. What I can't understand is why some of you feel like you have to persistently prove ones superiority over the other. There are cons and pros for both and while PES has many cons, graphics are certainly not one of them (neither is that crappy Master League).

Just looking at the game is the best way to judge its graphics. When you play a game you just stop noticing how it looks. RTWC 98 for example doesn't look wrong at all when you've played it for a little while. But watch it trough your TV set and it instantly reminds you of it's age.

yes right graphics, I suddenly got out of topic...
whenever the word comes to graphics, I got a flash of a picture that literally sticks to my brain.. that is from fifa2006demo, a psg defender with a hairstyle like taribo west.. it was truly horrible in terms of graphics..
but I admit that menu presentation is better in fifa series.. I'm impressed with the fifa2006demo menu.. it looks more refined, quality.. and also I admit that in terms of stadium atmosphere, fifa2006 would be far better than WE/PES Series.. but nothing more really.. I think I would go for WE/PES eyes-wide-shut..
