AP, some honest feedback for you. As you know, I edit my db in much the same way you do. So I just tried an experiment. I loaded your db, played for a bit, then loaded my db and played. I used the same teams, same settings. Overall, both your gameplay and my gameplay seem similar. But with your db, CPU defenders are quite docile and don't challenge me when I have the ball. I was easily able to get shots on their goal. With my db, CPU defenders challenge me more, especially in their back third and in front of their goal.

Now, I did install my high defend/low attack formations table in both dbs, so that might account for some of this. But if that table was the issue, you would think CPU defenders would play the same with both dbs. Can you think of which player ratings you lowered that might affect the gameplay in the way I'm describing? I'm interested because I feel one of the issues with FIFA's gameplay in general is the CPU needs to be smarter and more aggressive defensively. I've been trying all kinds of edits to improve that, but have only had mixed results so far.

First, decrease marking and positioning slightly, then increase aggression.
In the formations tab, decrease all y offsets to make the defense compact.
I find that the AI players have a sort of ''aggression field'' High aggression ratings enlarge this field. When you enter the outer boundary of that field, they will pressure you. If the game is more compact, you will engage more fields, resulting in higher aggression.
Finally, thanks for the feed; this is only an alpha.

Teams table finished, and so is formations and referees.:biggrinx:
I'll release the completed DB BETA either tonight or tomorrow.

I use RC's unlicensed teams DB. I'll also unlock some content for you.
