When you're down a goal, switch to your offensive tactics setup. When protecting a lead, switch to your defensive tactics. I'm working on a semi-final to fix defense and offense of the AI. I don't want the AI to be overpowered in defense; that's just unrealistic.

The beta 2 has better defense than the beta 1. I think you should use this in the meantime.

I like Andrea work better than Fidels to be fair. Andrea version is more balanced out, less frantic, more realistic out of the two.

In Fidels AI is only attack attack oriented mode, in AP version, you can see some clever midfield play, which on FIFA is rarity.

I did see issues with defenders positioning, but that's more down to EA faults not AP. There is an issue with loose marking of players which I absolutely HATE in this FIFA.

Marking on 100, Pressure 100, Double Aggression doesn't solve the issues with lackey defending!

It's like: well, we worked on attacking AI, but forgot to implement similar level of defensive AI in place :LOL:

Will play some more games with beta 2 to write full report on it.

So far liking it. (the variety of playing styles you can't omit! :D)

anyway the AI ball possession problem is related to the great amount of passes that ht e cpu does in defence and i don't wanna get pressure on the cpu in defence more and more because it's unrealistic for me

Every mod is compatible online so far. Online system uses their own squads file and is unaffected by mods. ;)

As for pressuring the defenders, well, depends what footy you watched. There are a lot of teams who start to pressure hard from attack to win the ball back on opposition half. The problem is, they do it smart in real life and hardly possible to incorporate into game.

Just a brief question AP (or others if you know the answer :).

When i download your latest db (which is beta2 at the time i'm typing this) and start a new career....when you update the db (lets say beta3, 4 or whatever you are gonna call it) when i copy that new database to my db folder can i continue my career or will i need to start it all over again?

If it is the same base db, it should work. I'll try this for you, but make sure you back up your files.

Bad teams have faster and uncoordinated buildups, while good teams will take space slowly and look for the killer ball.

ENGLAND/Barclays Premier League:
Most teams in the league will have faster build-ups than the Spanish league.
You will see more longballs and dribbling. Defense is aggressive. More wing play. Lots of shots.


85% done

BRAZIL/BRASILEIRAO

Fast build-up comparing to other leagues. Large variance of passes.
High defensive aggression. Larger amount of crosses. More shots.

65% done


SPAIN/Liga BBVA:


Slower build-up than other leagues. Less risky passes. More mid-field oriented attacks. Medium amount of shots.

55% done


ITALY/SERIE A:

Medium build-up; varied chance creation. Medium shots.

60% done

Lower Tier teams:

Fastest build-up for most teams. High risk passes and less shots.

90% done

Also, a product.ini will be developed to compliment this database.
