Why would you even ask that? You never need to regen with this patch.

I already know it works, like I said I had the crash this time so it was easier to fix. I also updated Iran and Germany squad.

Regen seems to kill the game when using file loader. Cant be 100% on that but I never used file loader until this patch and ran into that early on.


Get a fresh fifa and install the original patch into it, then install the update about to go up.

Everything should be good, I tested the teams reported to have crashes and it was obvious the new sb logos added in update 2 were the issue.

Guys this is a beta for feedback but could very well be the final.

Please do the following.

1. Get rid of all the old patch files, preferably install a fresh FIFA, if thats not possible then just delete the following directories:

a. Delete the folder "fifasetup" in the CProgram Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 14\Game folder and replace with a fresh fifasetup from default FIFA installation.

b. Delete the following 3 folders in the CProgram Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 14\Game folder: fiWCdata, fiWC-tool, fWCd

2. Install main patch into your main FIFA 14 directory, for most of you this will be CProgram Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 14.

3. Download this link http://www60.zippyshare.com/v/23035641/file.html, extract it to your pc. Find the extracted folder and copy all 4 folders from the extracted rar and paste them into the following directory:
CProgram Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 14\Game

Make sure you overwrite if asked.

After you complete these steps delete the current station tool icon on your desktop, go to directory CProgram Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 14\Game\fiWC-tool and find the "start station" icon and right click and send a to desktop.

4. Now run the station tool icon and pick db and tournament and test and give feedback.

The freezes and issues people have had with Japan, Poland, England, and even Portugal are from bad logo files installed from update 2 so make sure you change the scoreboard to "World Cup 2014 PS3" version when testing, you can use other scoreboards but the logos may not be there for the newly added sb's.

Its the same DB, makes no sense as you were just playing it the last couple days, all I did is remove some graphic files to keep Japan and other teams from freezing. Run the station tool icon from the fwc tool folder.

Are you seeing the switcher come up to select both db's and both sets of tournament files?

Fix works for me. No more crashing. Now I'm going to try and apply the CMP file to update my country NT I've made for the first version. Hopefully it will work.

Great, I just need more feedback from Origin users before we upload links. I dont want to release a new fix every 5 minutes.

When you apply the comp make sure it doesn't give players ids in the 5000's to your players.

Yeah, its the logos that are the issue. This db and the one released in update 2 are the same except I fixed the German and Iranian national teams. Do you use Origin?

I can confirm this. One edit in CM and the game crashes at the new splash screen. I just changed the stadium name of one team to try if editing works because I applied the CMP i've done and it crashed when the game is about to enter the skills, saved, launched it and crashed at the splash screen.

Copied the updated db back and game works fine... I'll install the first version and see if editing works better there.

everything work fine now forget my last comment no crashes no nothing i only have a small problem which is when i'm using the ps3 scoreboard one team logo doesn't appear it only appears after someone score a goal or a foul happens or if the ball goes out

Try this, get the 2 untouched databases from the link I gave you, open each db in db master and extract the "formations" table for each db and dont get the 2 exported formations tables confused.

Edit the db's in CM, then import the original formations table into the CM edited db's with the original formations table and then test.

Let me know what happens, I think I have an idea of what your issue is.
