Well, here are the teams in our new division! This one I think is going to be tough. Only first place qualifies, and if even UJA who came up with us can challenge Melun, I'm betting many of these can, as well. Is this Melun's first fall?

And they did get another chance though. You can see there that it was in the "semi-final". Teams who win that qualify, the losers are drawn against each other and play the "final" to see who makes it.

Haha, he's since got 16 an his first pro contract, which meant he's earning like a boss. (It still means like €1,000, but it's a LOT for Melun)

I personally don't go for youngsters with potential in a lower league game. Because by the time they reach their potential you will be a step (or many steps) ahead where you were when you bought them, able to bring in better players easily. So the effort of developing them doesn't really pan out because when they fulfil their promise they are not good enough for the first team. Unless he is an incredible talent but normally those don't sign with you.

I even picture Fili to look like that, based off of my terrible memory of the last pictures he has posted of himself. And he's too born in 1999.

Haha I look nothing like that! That's hilarious though, I once actually was on FM (can't recall which). They had that "face in the game" thing where people sent them pics of themselves and then came up as regens (before they had this newgen thing with the random generated faces). Never saw myself in it, but appeared in a friend's game, he had a screenshot but I think I lost it.

Back to Melun, then. Season's started off quite badly, this level is much tougher than previous season. Definitely won't win it, but eventually I will have to if I want to get promoted. I'm setting up to get promoted AT LEAST right next season, and for that I'm changing the tactic for the first time since I started this thing!

Here it is. It isn't an amazing change from the previous 4-3-3 but it packs the midfield some more which is something I desperately needed...




I also can't get crazy with the tactics because these guys are terrible, so I can't ask much of them...

Here are the results so far, October 9th. You can see the new tactic having its immediate effect after 3 straight losses. Still, UJA Reserves seem to be my chimera!
