Group phase here we go. Season's about to start, the real challenges are coming. The tactic is getting better, player's gelling as well. Unfortunately Pastore couldn't arrive in time for this last Knockout round, would've done wonders for team chemistry. But I reckon he'll slide right in.

Great debut in the Serie A. **** Montolivo, I dominated the entire pace and chances of the game, they couldn't create a decent chance and out of the blue that bastard those this:

Pastore played solidly the whole 90 minutes but still no flash of genius.

YES! What a display of efficiency at the Olimpico di Roma!

Moment of the match, historical. Alessandro Del Piero's 200th league goal for his Lady.

Oh, and Pastore MoM (H)

So, so far so good from Juve (Y)

This is pure love, Pippo Ribeiro. Pure love. And that's Del Piero's 200th league goal. He has around 280 goals now in a Juventus shirt. Man, I sometimes take for granted my childhood idol is still playing. I grew up with him! I must've scored thousands of goals with him on football games since around 1997. FIFA, PES, CM, FM, you name it. I'd put on my Del Piero shirt as a kid and kick everyone's ass on FIFA. And by the looks of it he'll be around for '12 aswell, though I don't necessarily where the shirt anymore hehe. Incredibile.

I'm a little surprised you sold Felipe Melo. He's a total prick and liability IRL (actually that's enough for me to sell him), but he's very good in FM.

So, nice result, fair in the end.

this:

-----Cassano-----
Zlatan----Robinho

is just unfair. So I was really happy with the defensive performance.

So, Alessandro has missed 3 penalties so far. The guy has 20 penalty taking, 18 composure, 16 concentration. WTF.

Disappointing outcome, seeing as the only two goals I conceded were in the first game against Brugge, which I lost 2-0. In the home game I couldn't get past a 0-0 draw, but it was in the aftermath of the Inter game, so **** it. Plus, on the bright side:

"Thank you for waiting, bianconeri."

He played his first senior game in like 6 months, holding Brugge. Still, Storari pretty much number 1 for now, incredible record of only 5 goals conceded in 16 Serie A games.

edit:

And this is what we get for being lenient in the Europa League:

Dear good friend Felipe.

I wanna confess that I have to this day been playing in 2D. What are your settings how does your 3D look so epic especially with the crowd??? help I wanna see my fans in 3D so bad I refuse to play since 2D is kinda boring now.

Sincerely,

So, 20 rounds and this is what the table looks like:

Only loss was against Napoli, who got me at my most frail time, where I had ALL my strikers unavailable (if you discount Pepe as a winger). And it was only a 1-0 loss from a Lavezzi penalty. So all is well in Torino (Y)

A quick round-up through the XI:

Storari: Amazing. 6 goals in 20 games? Gigi who?

Grygera: Solid, not as intervening as De Ceglie, although they both have the same instructions.

De Ceglie: Quickly earned his spot ahead of Grosso and hasn't let go, great potential.

Chiellini-Barzagli: Storari has been amazing but he has much to thank the duo. The binaconeri wall at the back is almost always impossible to go through with these two. Only big mistake was curiously in the match against Napoli, Chiellini conceded the penalty.

Sissoko: Only rarely does this beast give any chance for Marchisio to step in; and only because of the occasional ban. The rock that holds down the fort at the back so the front can work its magic.

Krasic: One of the best. Leading the Serie A assists rankings so far. Lighting fast.

Pepe: Great partnership with De Ceglie. The left side is better attacking than defending, but that doesn't hurt one bit seeing as I'm dominating most games.

Pastore: The argentinian wizard has been building up steam ever since his slow start of the season, which he got because he arrived too late to work all pre-season with the team. Still, indispensable in every attacking move.

Quagliarella: Another player who quickly earned a not-initially-given spot. Spearheading most attacking moves, had a bit of a goal draught that saw the team concede a few draws.

Del Piero: Embodies the return of the Vecchia Signora to the spotlight of Italian football. Team's top scorer with almost one goal every two games. Can this be the Pinturicchio last top-flight season, and perhaps his best?

This team has me being talked about as a replacement for Van Gaal at Bayern and Guardiola at Barça!

OH MY GOD!

Look at the amount of shots they had!

What the ****! The game wasn't actually that unbalanced (see clear-cut chances), the thing is every time Zlatan, Robinho or Cassano get the ball after the midfield, it's a goddamned missile launched at the goal. ******* overrated pricks.

Fortunately, I have an anti-missile shield, man of the match with 9.3, Marco-Dio-Storari!

Storari plays some blinders in real life too (first for Samp, then for Juve, but not for Milan somehow) ... just a shame that he's such a late, late bloomer ...

So, updates!

All is well in the land of the bianconeri. Eased by Dortmund, but then conceded the (only) second loss of the Serie A, to Parma. Hernán-*******-Crespo :D

Still, Montpellier was next and again Juve's amazing defense kept the lock on the goal, leaving the job for the one, the only:

So, this was it for the past weeks:

The problem now?

Damn, André. :(
