You might not be able to organize a testimonial, but you can schedule a friendly in the summer before his retire date.

Injuries are insane. At one point I had Barzagli, Sissokho and Pastore injured for like 3 months each. Now Marchisio and Pastore will probably miss the Semi-final against City. **** me

You beat me to it, I was actually considering that!

Andiamo! (H)

Del Piero's final year has been crowned with the scudetto, can we go all the way and do the double? :D

Champions League final here we go!! (H)

Oh God what a ride, I'll meet Barça in the final, they've knocked Arsenal out. I hope I can pull it off, if anything, for Alessandroooo! (H)

YES! YES! YES!
I was jumping around when Falcao hit that second goal! Once again, Del Piero was essential. Legend. **** I'm ecstatic, I don't know what I'll do now, really, I hope no big club comes after me, because it wouldn't be the first time I pulled a Mourinho, but I'm really fancying this Juve side (Y)

Guess no need for a testimonial, this shall be the last picture of Alessandro Del Piero in a Juve shirt :D

Awesome! Congratulations! The narrative of this Juventus is working out for you greatly. (Y)

I also see you picked Ferrari as the sponsor on your new Juve jerseys. I always do that aswell! I just found the ones I used for over 30 seasons in FM2008, my best Juventus save ever. Juventus had red numbers back in 07/08, and the red on black and white reminded me of Raging Bull (I may be a hair autistic), and the away shirt is the classic blue one with the yellow stars Juve used to wear in the late 90's (like Del Piero's final HURRA in your game (Y)). Very classy and stylish. If only Nike would make a little more effort IRL...

Haha those are class! You know what? I'm going to use those in the new season! Are those the proper size or will you link the bigger ones to me, please? (Y)

cool story so far, Fili (Y) ... and under your leadership, it had to be Falcão to win it!

haha Ferrari sponsor for the European champions! (H) even Luca di Montezemolo would approve ... those are some sweet kits, Jeroen ... it's only right that Alex should be garbed in Kappa for his farewell/testimonial ...

So, Summer's been busy!

Unfortunately, I guess due to the EURO, I wasn't able to do a friendly/testimonial for Alessandro. Despite that, I have decided to retire the number 10 jersey, Del Piero shall remain in Juve's minds forever!

Now then, the future.
Pre-season as been normal, but I've taken the opportunity given to me by the board (and by opportunity, I mean 80 million) to add great depth to the squad. With some big signings and some amazing bargains (thanks to the co-ownership deals, where I bought a couple of players for €1k and €15k), this is what Juventu's 2012-13 transfers look like:

Some of them not so known, perhaps, here's a few:

The tactic should remain the same, with the new squad looking like this: (ask if you want to see any player in particular (Y) )

First official games of the season are all against Palermo - they have won the Italian Cup and the Europa League :D

FORZA BIANCONERI

Ahhh, Thiago. I was just trying to sign him too. I've never really been interested in him before those few great pre-season games this summer.

On a quick side note, I was rumoured to be the next manager of Barcelona (I refused to comment), Guardiola got out. I reckoned there wasn't a point in applying for a job at the European runners-up when I had one at the European champions :D

City was also without a coach, which was tempting, but I decided I won't consider anything unless a club gives me an offer.

Murdered (H)

I'm sure FM karma will see me lose to them twice in the Serie A, but this surely makes up for it :D

Pastore coming up with the goods both times (H)

So that's 8 trophies for the BIANCONERI in little over two seasons :D

BIG update, yesterday I played like crazy!

We're January 26, 2013!

I am now reaching almost 60 games without a loss in the Serie A. Last team to defeat me was AC Milan all the way back in 2011.

These are my last few games.

As you can see from there, I lost a couple of CL games, although I did have to manage a tough group. Unfortunately I couldn't clinch first place. Plus, second lace got me the lovely draw of Manchester United for the round of 16. Tough one.

As you can also see from that, Juventus are now WORLD CHAMPIONS :D Yes, it is the easiest trophy of all, but me using many reserves and Falcao getting sent off meant the final was only decided on penalties, which BUFFON handled (H)

So, as things stand right now, I'm still on course for at least a four-cup winning season. The Serie A will certainly not slip from our hands, we've got the two Super Cups and the Club World Cup. This is actually funny because I set out to do two things:
- Finally win the Coppa d'Italia
- Be the first club to win back to back Champions Leagues

Stick around! (H)

Players are behaving amazingly for the big squad I have. I try to rotate as much as possible and the many competitions I have allow me to do so.

Chiellini has been much coveted but I've refused all offers and he doesn't want to leave. Buffon might be having his last year but he's performing as if he was 28 again, Falcao had a couple of bad injuries (and Paolucci still can't fill his boots), but has recently come back strong (scored a poker against Torino).

Ekdal, Silva and Thiago have all done superbly, the latter actually throwing Sissokho off the first XI, Marchision is the new Anchor Man with Thiago filling the box-to-box role.

I've brought Keiran Gibbs for like €4M in January. He was transfer listed and D'Elia wasn't cutting it when I needed a solid back-up for De Ceglie.

Oh and by the way, this man is probably my favourite player in FM 2011.
