After being severly disappointed by all the previous Fifas and such, and forced to move to PES I can finally say EA whooped Konami in every which way.
1st of all, Euro 2004 doesnt even remind me of the horrible horrible Fifa 2004.
2nd of all the gameplay was improved completly, the AI is fantastic (yea it got few bugs here and there, but nothing huge), the AI finally attacks from allover, front, sides, lobs, long shots just you never know what they gonna do next, which is excellent, I was pro in Fifa 2004, beating everyone 4-0, 6-1 and such, right now Im struggling to even score 2 goals in the same game on pro, not only that Im gaving a blast, and FINALLY I CAN USE MY PS2 contoller without modifing anything :)
Well done EA, now just finish up and release this bad boy so I can buy my 1st ever soccer game! :mrpimp:

I'm with you..
I believe EA is doing great job with this great game.
I expect the full version to be even greater.
I have both GC and PS2, and i was thinking about selling my PS2 because i only play WE with it and nothing else.
but now, I have to keep it so that i can play Euro 2004, since it's not released on GC.

i was so surprised (and happy) when the ai was pulling off nutmegs and all these fancy moves on me. The ai is greatly improved.

You do of course realise that in one sentence you say you've had all the other FIFAs and moved onto PES and then later on in the same post you say you're about to buy your first ever soccer game!!!!!

As they probably say in the elementary school playground to you in recess "liar, liar, pants on fire!"

I think Euro 2004 seems faster paced than FIFA 2004. But I think the FIFA series would be alot better if the guys that make the other EA Sports games would make. You may say what do they know about soccer? But I guarantee you they could do better than the guys that make FIFA. Plus look all other EA Sports games have create-a-player and an indepth career mode. I think Euro 2004 is a step up from FIFA 2004 but they are progressing too slow compared to EA's other titles IMO.....

demo is part of the full version. they just take part of the code, make it as demo. in term of gameplay and graphics, 99% there is same with demo. so, easy word...there is nothing much greater than demo..

in a demo, you can't feel the real enjoyment, you can't do that much. it lets you decide whether to buy it or not, though. but playing with the same 2 teams over and over, only 1 half of the match, no full cinematics or celebrations, can't change the formation, tactics, can't make subtitutions, no commentators, can't "FEEL" Euro 2004 until you really experience it, which is obviously through Euro 2004 mode. and then the other modes come, fantasy mode, where joining all the big stars together, situation mode, where you challenge yourself..etc.
the demo just gives you a "hint" on what you're gonna buy, and THIS TIME it's different because this game has a lot of "all new" stuff, which are represented for the first time. It only shows the graphics ( some people don't have a good graphic card so they can't really enjoy them until they buy it on console ), and the gameplay, which is pretty good !!
ok ngyc ?? :p I hope you get my point now ;)

Not 2 teams, pally... 3. This is one of the two best things EA has done for a Fifa demo in some time. I downloaded the Eng/Fra demo and was pleasantly surprised to find that I could play as Portugal as well. (<-- or --> at the team selection screen)

Good thing #1 - 3 teams.
Good thing #2 - Play again without starting the demo all over again.

Cheers.

Oh dear, fell into that trap didn't you? I'd go read the rules on warez talk again if I were you!

Plus, the fact that even you haven't thought they were worth buying doesn't exactly promote the product very well.

Oh well, nice try at covering up your BS and thanks for the offer but I'm not gay. You need to find another forum for other males to take you up on that offer! Queerboy.
