How can EA dare releasing Fifa for PC without NEXT GEN ?!?!
Come on, cut the crap : we've been having the same old **** since several years. Best Fifa on PC is Fifa 99, and we're in ... 2008 !!!

Too bad for them, they're not gonna get my money. PES2009 will be mine, at least Seabass listened to us.

we get the same boring crowds, last gen flawed gameplay, we miss out on a s***load that next gen gets, its a joke

actually, i've thought of this in the past. it sounds wierd, but think of it being played vaguely like an FPS, where you move the mouse right or left to have your player turn/shift their body weight right or left. hold the pass, shoot, or lob buttons down and flick the mouse in the direction you want the ball to go - how quickly you move your mouse determines the pace of the ball. it would take some getting used to, no doubt, but it could be really intuitive after you get used to it.

at least, that's how i envisioned it a few years ago...dunno if what ea's doing is anything like that.

are those screens for pc??????? if so then those screens look very interesting even though the crowd is the same crap as the last fifa but the players models has improved a lot.

Yes this big screen is a PC-screen.
Well, okay it's still the same old engine, but this year it seems they really put some little improvements in the graphics. The player models look better and remind me of the next-gen versions, although the kit-shade still looks static. I hope they also improved the pitch, because it looks a bit as if there were 3D-grass. Unfortunatly, the ugly 2D-crowd destroys the impression of a hybrid between current- and next-gen so it looks more like 1/4 next-gen. I hope they change the crowd, but I'm not very optimistic.

Well, the players look outstanding. If the crowd is the only problem, I'll take it, you dont see the crowd that often. But it's a really big improvement. We'll see more soon, I'm sure!

So looks like the graphics are improving a lot, nice screen of Ribery. It would be great if GM Magazine is right when they say that PC FIFA 09 graphics will be similar with PS3 graphics from FIFA 08

I think about all this DESPOTIA:We are will be to a build own GEN and merged disabolical grathic suits from stupid to EA's customers and online services.And global operation for activation all nubullyators and crazybombers of world.Yes it's a joke!That iteresting fix:NHL for canadian game play-glad to see for russian.But football only into support microsoft plagins and more,more(Autodesk,Solidworks NGEN Framework).It's great work for communication all services into one system.For old PC its a hard integration and for new evo bull****.Don't madding themselves brains and stop it.May be EA thinking about future?
